An embodiment includes generating first and second preliminary schedules for respective first and second workers assigned respective first and second tasks, detects a block of time that is part of both the first and second preliminary schedules, and generates respective first and second location predictions for the first and second workers during the block of time. The embodiment calculates a distance between the first and second workers based on the first and second location predictions, and revises, responsive to determining that the distance is less than a threshold value, the second preliminary schedule to replace the first block of time with a second block of time that is not part of the first preliminary schedule. The embodiment generates an access control list that includes the first preliminary schedule as a first access schedule for the first worker for use in responding to access queries.

Pattern analysis for schedule optimization

An apparatus for delaying a message includes a receiver module, a delay determination module, a storage module, and a display module. The receiver module receives an electronic message. The delay determination module determines if the message includes a request to delay displaying the message. The request includes a requested delay. The storage module stores the message prior to queuing for display in response to the delay determination module determining that the message includes a requested delay. The message is stored in a computer readable storage media accessible to a computing device receiving the message. The display module queues the message for display after the requested delay. In one embodiment, at least a portion of the receiver module, the delay determination module, the storage module, and the display module include hardware and/or executable code where the executable code is stored on one or more computer readable storage media.

Deployment descriptor files are generated for automation of installation and integration of computing system solution components by associating configurable behavioral models with a system solution design, configuring instantiations of the models to contain behavioral parameters, and, responsive to a user defining a connection between two model instances, displaying an intelligence form according to an expertise level of the user, receiving user inputs establishing configuration and option parameters for the connected model instances, saving the configuration and option parameters in a sub-template that defines the interface between the model instances in the system solution design, generating deployment descriptors by extracting the behavioral and configuration parameters from each sub-template, and packaging the configured behavioral model instances and deployment descriptor files into an application package for automatic deployment.

A system and method for debugging system solutions under design which cooperates with a solution design platform in which relationships between two or more system-level computing components are defined, in which each system-level computing component is associated with a behavioral model, and in which each relationship between system-level computing components is defined as a message-based communications interface. During simulation of the solution, messages are created by analysis of each behavioral model, and are transported or exchanged between system components. The debugging facility monitors interfaces between the system-level components, captures messages at the monitored interfaces, and adds tracking information to the captured messages. Following simulation, the stored messages and tracking information can be reformatted and displayed for review by the user to assist in determination of the problems in system-level operation.

Electronic documents related to a computer system solution having a plurality of computing components are aggregated and bundled by a solution building wizard having configurable behavioral models associated with a system solution design, a plurality of configured instantiations of the behavioral models previously configured to contain behavioral and interface parameters according to a set of user inputs to define connection logic pairs or groups of the model instances, a documentation retriever which determines that one or more electronic documents are available for each of the configured behavioral model instance and requesting and retrieving the available electronic documents, and a documentation bundler aggregating the retrieved documents into an electronically deliverable document bundle.

Automatic generation of documentation for component-based computing solution

A palette is displayed containing icons representing available system components for use in a solution. Associated with the icons are partially defined behavioral models, implementation logic, and user-modifiable parameters and options in a markup language format. Instances of the configurable behavioral models are instantiated through selection by a user. A design area of the display shows icons for the instances, where they are placed and arranged by the user, including connection logic and user-input model interface and behavioral logic parameters. The models are configured according to the parameters by modifying the associated markup language. A system solution behavioral model is automatically created in a modeling language comprising a collection of the interconnected and fully defined component behavioral model instances, allowing simulation of operation of the system solution.

A system and method for automatic conversions of units of measure in a wireless communication network are provided. With the system and method, when a wireless communication device enters a region of a wireless network, the wireless communication device registers with the wireless network. The registration includes the creation of a database entry at the mobile switching center that includes an indication of the origin, such as the country code, of the wireless communication device. Based on this indication of origin, a conversion function may be identified for converting of units of measure to a format that is most likely to be understood by a user of the wireless communication device. When a text based message is sent to the wireless communication device, the text message is received by the mobile switching center which determines how to route the text message and parses the text message to identify any portions of the text message that include a unit of measure that may need to be converted. These identified units of measure are then converted using the conversion functions identified based on the identification of origin. The text message with the converted units of measure is then routed to the destination wireless communication device.

System and method of automatic conversion of units of measure in a wireless communication network

A system and method for automatic translation of broadcast messages in a wireless communication system are provided. With the system and method when a wireless communication device enters a region of a wireless network, the wireless communication device registers with the wireless network by way of a base station and mobile switching center. The registration of the wireless communication device includes the creation of a database entry at the mobile switching center that identifies the wireless communication device and includes an indication of the origin, such as the country code, of the wireless communication device. Based on this indication of origin, a desired output language may be identified. This identified output language may then be used to identify prestored versions of a broadcast message that are in the output language or identify the mechanism for translating a broadcast message from an original language to the identified output language. In this way, the broadcast message is generated in a language that is most likely to be understood by a user of the wireless communication device.
