A drip emitter sized for insertion into a liquid supply tube and positioned adjacent to a dripping aperture in the tube comprises an emitter body having a convex side configured to internally and adjacently fit the tube and an opposite flat side comprising a regulator, wherein the convex side comprises an outlet chamber configured to be fluidically connected to the dripping aperture; a membrane covering at least the regulator; a cover provided with a liquid intake having a filter, wherein the cover is configured to envelop the emitter body except of most of said convex side; and a locking mechanism connecting the flat side and an inner surface of the cover that is adjacent to the flat side so as to join the cover to the emitter body, wherein the membrane is retained therebetween.

Drip irrigation emitter

An in-line button drip emitter may include a core fitting into a cover. For example, the core may include a cylindrical section with an elliptical cross section. For example the cover may close over a pressure reducing labyrinth formed in the outer cylindrical sides of the core. Optionally the cover has a long axis which is parallel to the long axis of the cross section of the core. In some embodiments, the bonding surface has an arched profile. Optionally, the arched profile fits an inner wall of an irrigation tube. For example, an axis of the arched profile may be parallel to the long axis of the elliptical cross section of the core and/or the arched profile may be parallel to the axis of the cover.

Elliptical in line button dripper with extended bonding zones

A flowing water channel device comprises a tubular conduit made of fluid impervious material, and a plurality of orifices extending along a longitudinal axis of said tubular conduit. Within each of the plurality of orifices, an interior plurality of strands pass from the orifice to an interior of the tubular conduit, an exterior plurality of strands pass from the orifice to an exterior of the tubular conduit, and an intermediate plurality of strands are interlaced with the interior and exterior plurality of strands and configured at least partially within the orifice. Each of the interior plurality of strands, exterior plurality of strands, and intermediate plurality of strands is made of a fluid permeable material.

Irrigation system

A drip irrigation emitter may be provided with a coupler for bonding to an inner surface of a conduit. The emitter may include for example a button flow restrictor. The coupler may optionally provide an outlet zone on the conduit surface that is large enough for automated perforation. Bonding the emitter to the surface of the conduit may have a minimal effect on the dimensions and/or properties of the conduit. A button drip irrigation emitter may optionally include a two part labyrinth. The labyrinth may for example be confined between a cylindrical surface and a cover and/or wind between intermeshing baffles on the cover and/or the surface.

In line button drip emitter

A drip irrigation emitter may be provided with a coupler for bonding to an inner surface of a conduit. The emitter may include for example a button flow restrictor. The coupler may optionally provide an outlet zone on the conduit surface that is large enough for automated perforation. Bonding the emitter to the surface of the conduit may have a minimal effect on the dimensions and/or properties of the conduit. A button drip irrigation emitter may optionally include a two part labyrinth. The labyrinth may for example be confined between a cylindrical surface and a cover and/or wind between intermeshing baffles on the cover and/or the surface. In some embodiments the device may be formed using molding elements moving along a single axis.

According to some embodiments of the present invention, there are provided a flowing water channel device, comprising, a tubular conduit made of fluid impervious material and at least one slit extending along a longitudinal axis of the tubular conduit, a first and a second marginal edge of the tubular conduit are opposing to one another, and at least one fluid permeable sheet material layer passing via the at least one slit and having a first marginal portion spread within the tubular conduit along the longitudinal axis and a second marginal portion spread outside of the tubular conduit along the longitudinal axis.

Mesh based irrigation system

A modular in-line drip emitter may include a flow restrictor and a replaceable attachment. The flow restrictor may provide fluid communication between an inlet and a fluid outlet chamber. The flow restrictor may include rate limiting fluid path producing a predefined range of flow rate over a predefined pressure differential range between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. The attachment may be sized and shaped to mount to the flow restrictor. In some embodiments the attachment includes an inlet opening oriented for receiving fluid from a conduit and a fluid outlet attachable to the fluid inlet of the flow restrictor. In some embodiments the attachment includes a sleeve fitting into a conduit with an annular outlet chamber attachable to the outlet chamber of the flow restrictor.

Modular in line button drip emitter system

There is provided a cleaning apparatus for unclogging an irrigation emitter inlet filter by dislodging or crushing or breaking a trapped solids. In some embodiments, a ram pushes the trapped solids out of a fluid inlet of the emitter. In other embodiment, a constriction provided for retaining a particle has a changeable interior cross section. By changing the cross section of the constriction, the constriction is unclogged. In alternative embodiments the filtration member may include two rigid members moving in relation one to the other or the filtration member may be elastic. In further alternate embodiments the cleaning may be activated automatically or manually.

Filter cleaning apparatus

An apparatus is supplied for a self adjusting regulator suited for an irrigation emitter. A curved flow channel is integrated into a concave dome shaped surface. A deformable member deforms to approach the surface to adjust the resistance to flow. The concave dome shaped surface may match a deformed shape of the membrane. Irregularities in the interface between the surface and the deformable member are configured to achieve a desired discharge under varying flow conditions. The deformable member may activate an inlet filter cleaner by pushing a ram and thereby unclogging the filter.

Flow regulator for agricultural drip emitter

An agricultural drip emitter optionally includes an elastomeric having a flow restriction. Flow through the emitter, when deployed inside an irrigation hose, is optionally regulated by pressure-responsive deformation of the elastomer. The flow restriction optionally includes under-tooth bypass spaces located between a base and a sequence of baffles. Some implementations also include a rigid polymer component. Optionally, a thermoset elastomer component is mechanically interlocked with the rigid component. The elastomer component and the rigid component are optionally molded as a unitary part by two component injection molding. Optionally, in the molding process, a divider initially divides the mold into two cavities. After forming the first component, the divider is optionally repositioned for forming the second component with an interface to the first component. The sequence of baffles is optionally formed by elastic stripping from an undercut mold.

Bi-component drip emitter

An unclogging filter apparatus has an irrigation outlet and a flushing outlet. A filtering element moves between at least an operational position and a flushing position. When the filtering element is in the operational position substantially all of the fluid flowing into the apparatus is directed out the irrigation outlet, while the filtering element is disposed for removing a particle from the fluid flowing into the apparatus. When the filtering element is in the flushing position, the filtering element is disposed for flushing the particle out the flushing outlet.

Agricultural emitter including a filter and method of using same

A drip emitter formed from an elastomer component and a rigid polymer component for welding to the inner surface of an irrigation hose. The drip emitter has a fluid flow pathway including a flow restriction, typically in the form of a labyrinth, formed at least partially within the elastomer to provide a variable geometry flow restriction. The flow restriction may include under-tooth bypass spaces located between the base and the sequence of baffles, over-tooth bypass clearances or may employ baffles with a thickened root portion which forms a sloped transition region between an upright upper wall portion and the base. In each case, flow through the drip emitter when deployed is regulated by pressure-responsive deformation of the elastomer component. Some implementations employ a thermoset elastomer component such as silicone with mechanical interlocking between the components.

A drip irrigation hose includes a tube for conducting pressurized water through its interior and formed with a plurality of outlets for emitting water at longitudinally-spaced locations along the length of the tube; and a plurality of flow-control elements fixed with respect to the inner surface of the tube at longitudinally-spaced locations thereof to define, with the inner surface, a plurality of labyrinths each having an inlet communicating with the interior of the tube and an outlet communicating with a tube outlet for emitting water there from at a slow rate. The labyrinth includes a bottom wall constructed to produce, adjacent to the bottom wall, a significant laminar flow of water in which the laminar flow decreases, and thereby turbulent flow increases, with an increase in the water pressure within the tube to thereby provide pressure-compensation for the water flow through the respective tube outlet.

Drip irrigation hoses of the labyrinth type and flow-control elements for producing such hoses

A linked list buffer circuit can be configured to store different linked lists. The buffer includes insert logic and an insert state machine to add ATM cells to the linked lists in the buffer. Extract logic and an extract state machine allow for the removal of ATM cells from the linked lists in the buffer. Because, ATM cells can have different levels of priority, programmable monitor circuitry is provided to monitor the linked lists in the buffer. The monitor circuitry keeps track of buffer and list capacity, and also keeps track of cell loss priority and delay priority cells of the buffer and the linked lists. This information is used to drop received cells if necessary. The linked list monitor circuitry can be configured based upon the linked list configuration of the buffer. The linked list monitor can be configured by changing threshold levels provided to counter/comparator circuitry. Assignments of internal counter circuitry are also programmable based upon the buffer configuration.
