An audio system with a dynamic sound field adaptation to follow a listeners position. The audio system includes a relative location determination mechanism for determining the relative positions of at least all sound emitting components of the audio system with respect to each other, a personal device detector for detecting a personal device belonging to a user, a personal device position tracking mechanism for tracking the position of the personal device, and a re-calibration mechanism for re-calibrating the sound field such that the sweet spot of the sound field is placed at the current position of the personal device.

Dynamic sweet spot tracking

A method for dispatching steps of an application running on an application server which can be accessed from client terminals. Users select user interaction elements on client terminals, and the interactions are transmitted to the application server executing a main part of an application, which creates output that contains the next set of possible user interactions. Calling application steps can be addressed and invoked by other application steps in order to reuse software components necessary for processing said other application steps. Nesting programming commands used to call another application step are arbitrarily nested and serve as a called sub-routine within the calling application step. Values are returned to the calling application step, and nesting paths of called application steps are discarded in case a user switches to another application.

Dispatching application steps of an application running on an application server in a client/server environment

A sensor management system is provided which manages the utilization of one or more sensors on behalf of a context source providing sensor information to a context creating system. Each sensor is made available for the context source by a sensor service which provides a communication interface for the sensor. The sensor management system contains a context source interaction unit, a sensor service discovery unit, a sensor management service, and a sensor access object unit.

Dynamic information source management

A system for supplying context information on request includes a context attribute specifying a type, a format, and a focus entity for a data record representing a response to a request for context information, at least one context source providing context data relevant for the request of context information, and at least one context interpreter configured to establish an interconnection between the context attribute and the context source. The system also includes a configuration unit configured to keep track of availability and suitability of context sources and context interpreters and set-up a dynamic context graph configuration for assembling the context sources and the context interpreters based on the availability and suitability of the context sources and context interpreters to provide the data record.
