Compositions and methods for the detection and diagnosis ofare disclosed. Provided are antibodies, or antigen binding fragment thereof, specific for tracheal colonization factor A (TcfA). Also provided are compositions comprising an anti-TcfA antibody of the instant invention and a carrier; and methods for inhibiting, treating, and/or preventing pertussis and/or ainfection in a subject in need thereof are provided, comprising administering an anti-TcfA antibody of the instant invention to the subject.

Methods and compositions for pertussis diagnosis

Non-invasive methods are provided herein for diagnosing samples as including a fungus, including fungal infection or contamination, with specific monoclonal antibodies capable of detecting molecules associated with fungi in the sample, such as a biological or environmental sample. These molecules can be identified using various methods, including but not limited to antibody based methods, such as an enzyme-linked immunosorbant assay (ELISA), or a lateral flow immunoassay.
