A method including determining types of radio access technologies supported by the apparatus, wherein the apparatus supports at least two types of radio access technologies, providing inputs to machine learning models, wherein the machine learning models include a corresponding machine learning model to each type of radio access technology, and for each type of radio access technology parameters associated with that type of radio access technology are provided as an input to the corresponding machine learning model, and obtaining, for each type of the radio access technologies, a power consumption estimate provided by the corresponding machine learning model.

To capture carbon dioxide from ambient air, a housing having at least five openings and one cooling route for a coolant from a base station to circulate within the housing may be used. The housing may include five openings: one for ambient air to enter the housing, one for the coolant to enter the housing, one for the coolant to exit the housing, one for air to exit the housing and one, the below most, for a carbon dioxide to exit the housing. The cooling route is between the openings for the coolant, formed by at least one partially insulated pipe with an uninsulated pipe surface portion. The housing further includes at least one disc made of a solid carbon dioxide sorbent material for capturing carbon dioxide and being arranged within the cooling route with a direct physical contact to the un-insulated pipe surface portion.

Disclosed is a method for determining open loop power control parameters. A first set of key performance indicators associated with a first set of open loop power control parameters is obtained from one or more first base stations. A statistical model is determined based at least partly on the first set of key performance indicators and the first set of open loop power control parameters. A second set of open loop power control parameters is determined based at least partly on the statistical model.

Disclosed is a method comprising obtaining historical data from a plurality of access nodes comprised in a network, determining, for at least one of the plurality of access nodes, a region comprising a set of values for threshold pairs that comprise minimum and maximum threshold pairs, determining, from the region, one threshold pair, wherein the threshold pair defines pre-determined thresholds for determining if a cell is to be switched on or switched off, providing the threshold pair to the network for deployment, and collecting data regarding at least one key performance indicator from the plurality of access nodes.
