A drive mechanism, a drive system and an aerodynamic structure for an aircraft, each including at least one articulated module comprising four links. Each link includes three coupling points distributed forming a triangular geometry. The links are coupled to each other such that an articulation with only one degree of freedom is provided.

A method for manufacturing a part layer-upon-layer using Additive Manufacturing technology, the method including: printing the part together with an elastomeric enclosure shaped thereto leaving a gap free of material therebetween, the elastomeric enclosure including at least one opening; heating the ensemble of the printed part and elastomeric enclosure or keeping an operating printing temperature; applying vacuum by the at least one opening of the elastomeric enclosure so that the elastomeric enclosure deflates thus exerting pressure to the printed part; and maintaining the printed part under vacuum and heat during a predefined time.

Method for manufacturing a part

A method for simulating surface roughness on an aircraft part surface and a method for testing the behavior on flight of this aircraft part with surface roughness simulated, wherein the surface roughness simulation includes forming a roughness pattern on the aircraft part surface using a laser. The roughness pattern is a projectable lattice including longitudinal projections and transverse projections, wherein heights of the longitudinal and transverse projections correspond to a maximum roughness of a selected surface roughness type.

Method for simulating surface roughness on an aircraft

A 3D printed drilling template () including: a rigid framework able to be manipulated by an operator or an automaton, and a set of traversing () orifices in the framework and arranged to guide the drilling of holes into a structure on which the drilling template is mounted, wherein the drilling template () is designed or revised on an ad-hoc basis and manufactured by 3D printing and using a 3D printing material based on a polymer material mixed with powdered graphene.

An impression chamber () for a 3D printer () adapted to receive a high performance plastic filament () and including a print head () and a printing bed (), wherein the impression chamber () includes a thermally insulated plate () and a polyimide film () attached to the plate () for delimiting a printing space (). The plate () is dimensioned to have a surface () equal or larger than the major surface of the piece () to be printed, and the film () is dimensioned to surround the printing bed (). The plate () is provided with a first through-hole () for allowing the passage of at least part of the print head (), so that the plate () is moved by the movement of the print head () and the film () is dragged by said movement providing a flexible impression chamber ().
