A gas turbine engine includes a compressor section and a turbine section in axial flow arrangement defining an axially extending, longitudinal centerline, and arranged as a rotor and a stator. A seal assembly defines a primary seal at an interface of the rotor and the stator and separates an inlet plenum from an outlet plenum. The seal assembly includes one or more aspiration conduits fluidly connected to the primary seal. One or more flingers are positioned at least partially between the seal assembly and the inlet plenum that define one or more passageways fluidly connecting the inlet plenum to the one or more aspiration conduits. The flingers are positioned to direct at least a portion of an airflow within the inlet plenum away from the one or more passageways.

A code base is parsed to identify methods having changes in a code base since a last code commit. Thereafter, a call graph is traversed to identify test cases implicated by the identified methods having changes in the code base. The call graph can be a directed call graph comprising a plurality of connected nodes in which a first subset of the connected nodes are method nodes representing each method in the code base in which unidirectional edges connecting method nodes correspond to invocations by a calling method to a callee method, and in which a second subset of the connected nodes are test case nodes representing each of a plurality of available test cases to test the code base. The test case nodes are each coupled to one or more method nodes by unidirectional edges that correspond to the test case coverage of the method.

Predictive test case coverage

A code base is parsed to identify methods encapsulated therein. Thereafter, a call graph is generated based on the parsing using a graph generation technique. The call graph is a directed call graph comprising a plurality of nodes characterizing the identified methods. It can then be determined, based on one or more design patterns used to generate the code base, that at least a portion of the nodes generated call graph are disconnected nodes. At least two of the disconnected nodes are then connected using a stitching algorithm to result in a modified call graph. Data characterizing the modified call graph can then be provided (e.g., displayed in a graphical user interface, stored in a database, loaded into memory, transmitted to a remote computing device, etc.).

Various methods and systems are provided for skip-firing an engine. As one embodiment, a method for an engine includes firing all cylinders of the engine and not altering the closing timing of the intake valves when fueling demands are greater than a threshold. The method further includes skip-firing the engine when fueling demands are less than a threshold, and holding open the intake valves of skipped cylinders for a greater duration than intake valves of firing cylinders.

Various systems and methods are provided for controlling operation of a turbocharger compressor. In one example, a system includes a turbocharger including a turbine positioned in an exhaust passage and a compressor positioned in an intake passage, an engine bypass passage having an inlet fluidically coupled to an outlet of the compressor and an outlet fluidically coupled to an inlet of the turbine, an engine bypass valve to control flow through the engine bypass passage, and a controller configured to adjust a position of the engine bypass valve to maintain compressor operation within a designated compressor efficiency region.

Various methods and systems are provided for a variable geometry ported shroud for a turbocharger. In one example, a compressor system includes a compressor housing defining an air inlet, a shroud, and a bypass passage, a compressor wheel housed in the compressor housing and surrounded by the shroud, only a single port passing through the shroud and fluidically coupled to the bypass passage, and a ring configured to move axially to adjust a restriction of the port.

Methods and system for a turbocharger

Circuits and methods for controlling electrical coupling by a load switch are disclosed. In an embodiment, the load switch includes a pass element, level-shift circuit and low-resistance active path. The pass element is configured to be coupled to a power supply and a load, and is configured to electrically couple the power supply with the load during ON-state and electrically decouple the power supply from the load during OFF-state. The level-shift circuit includes a first transistor and pull-up resistor and is configured to generate a level-shifted signal in response to an enable signal, and enable the ON-state and the OFF-state of the pass element based on first and second voltages of the level-shifted signal. The low-resistance active path is coupled in parallel with the pull-up resistor for shunting the pull-up resistor in the OFF-state by providing a path for a leakage current of the first transistor in the OFF-state.
