The disclosure relates to a method for creating a three-dimensional digital subtraction angiography image of a vascular system of a patient. The method includes: providing a first reconstructed three-dimensional filling image which was acquired during at least partial contrast agent filling of the vascular system with a first contrast agent; providing a second reconstructed three-dimensional filling image which was acquired during at least partial contrast agent filling of the vascular system with a second contrast agent; and subtracting the first three-dimensional filling image from the second three-dimensional filling image so that a three-dimensional subtraction angiography image is produced, wherein the first contrast agent and the second contrast agent differ in that one of the two causes increased X-ray absorption and the other causes reduced X-ray absorption relative to a vascular system without contrast agent.

An aligning element for aligning a needle guide, which is equipped for longitudinally guiding a medical needle, includes a connecting element for arranging the aligning element on the needle guide, and a light-guiding element for a predetermined diffusion of light. The light-guiding element only generates a predetermined light pattern relative to the diffusion of light in a pose predetermined by the geometry of the apparatus. Such an aligning element may be used in a treatment arrangement for longitudinally guiding a needle and in a method for aligning a needle guide.

An imaging device and a method for generating a motion-compensated image or video are provided. The imaging device has a data acquisition facility for acquiring image data of a target object. The imaging device is configured to acquire, using a registration facility, a posture of an inertial measurement unit and, on the basis thereof, to carry out a registration between coordinate systems of the inertial measurement unit and the image data. The imaging device is further configured to acquire motion data from the inertial measurement unit arranged on the target object and, by processing the motion data, to generate the motion-compensated image or video.

A method for providing a prognosis data record includes receiving a first image data record relating to an examination region of an examination object, and receiving an operating parameter of a medical object that is arranged at the examination region of the examination object and positioning information of the medical object that is arranged at the examination region. The input data is based on the first image data record, the at least one operating parameter, and the positioning information of the medical object. At least one parameter of the trained function is based on a comparison with a first comparison image data record.
