A method as a workflow for imaging for a heart valve implant procedure includes positioning the patient and an articulated imaging apparatus relative to one another, inducing rapid ventricular pacing in the patient, and imaging a region of the patient's heart to obtain image date for a three-dimensional image. The three-dimensional data is used to construct a three-dimensional image of the region of the patient's heart an the three-dimensional image is displayed for use in the implanting of the replacement heart valve. Optional steps may include obtaining a real time two-dimensional image of the patient's heart and superimposing the real time two-dimensional image with the constructed three dimensional image. The replacement valve is moved into position in the patient's heart during rapid ventricular pacing and breath hold using the superimposed two-dimensional and three-dimensional image information.

Method of imaging for heart valve implant procedure

In a presentation device for the two-dimensional presentation of the volume data elements of a volume dataset, parts of the volume dataset can be selected by prescribing boundary surfaces. The boundary surfaces are displaceable. The selected volume can be presented as a perspective image rotating around a basic rotational axis. The rotational axis is selectable dependent on the positions of the volume data elements of the selection dataset. The rotational axis can be automatically determined by a computer unit.

Presentation device

In a presentation device for two-dimensional, perspective projection of volume data elements of a volume dataset, the point of vision can be displaced along an optical axis and the point of vision and, with it, an acquired spatial angle can be rotated around at least one rotational axis with interactive inputs. The rotational axis intersects the optical axis in a pivot point that is determined dependent on the data values of volume data elements that lie within the acquired spatial angle, particularly on the optical axis or in the proximity thereof.

X-ray diagnostic device having a supporting apparatus

A device and a process for producing tomograms by means of an X-ray diagnostic device which has a C-frame-like mount (7) on which a radiation transmitter (5) and a planar detector as radiation receiver (6) are arranged at opposite ends facing each other. Various signals stored in memory (17, 18, 19, 27) are used by a signal processing device (4) in the calculation of processed image signals. These signals include signals (I.sub.P) relating to the central point of rotation (31) for the scanning operation, and signals (.DELTA.S, .DELTA.U) for correction geometric distortions and/or vignetting effects and/or the film-focus distance.

C-frame X-ray diagnostic device for producing tomographic recordings

A medical diagnostics installation comprises components for portraying an examination region on a monitor and includes an operating unit which is spatially spaced from the monitor and has a control unit, either a sensor field, a joystick or a key field, for acting on a data processor for controlling the components. The data processor includes a data store that contains data corresponding to different operating menus, and these menus are capable of being called in via the operating unit and are displayed on the monitor. At least one operating condition of the medical diagnostics installation can be produced by the operating unit and the operating menus correspond to the operating conditions being displayed on the monitor are only the operating functions required for this operating condition. The operating functions are controllable via a mark or cursor which is controlled by either the sensor field, joystick or key field.
