In order to provide a transport device having a planar motor, which gives greater flexibility in the movement of the transport units, at least one multiple-action transport unit is provided on the transport device. On the multiple-action transport unit, at least first drive magnets for electromagnetic interaction with the drive coils of a first planar motor and at least second drive magnets for electromagnetic interaction with the drive coils of a second planar motor are provided. The multiple-action transport unit can be moved two-dimensionally on the transport plane of one of the planar motors, or can be moved simultaneously, unidimensionally on neighboring transport planes of the first and second planar motor.

Transport device

For a long stator linear motor comprising a switch and secure guidance of the transport vehicles in the direction of movement along the transport track, it is provided that the transport vehicle (Tn) is force-guided, at least in sections, in the direction of movement (x) outside the switch (W), and at least one one-sided track section () is provided on the transport track (), along which a vehicle guide element () only on one side of the transport track () interacts with the track guide element () on the assigned side of the transport track () for the mechanical forced guidance in the direction of movement (x), and the forced guidance in the direction of movement (x) in the transverse direction (y) is canceled in the region of the switch (W).

Long stator linear motor

In order to provide simple, fast, and reliable verification of the functioning and processing of an automation task in the form of software in a multi-channel safety-oriented automation component (), the software (SW) is run in one channel (K) of the automation component () in an active unit (P) of the hardware of the channel (K), and first diversity software (SW) redundant relative to the software (SW) is run in a verification unit (V) in this channel (K), wherein in a processing step (Z) input data (E) associated with the software (SW) and first output data (A) computed by the software (SW) in this processing step (Z) are temporarily stored in a memory unit (M), and the diversity software (SW) in the verification unit (V) computes second output data (A') based on the stored input data (E) independently of the processing of the software (SW) in the active unit (P), and the second output data (A&#x2032;) computed by the diversity software (SW) is compared with the stored first output data (A) of the software (SW) in order to verify the processing.

Method for verifying the processing of software

The different electrical components and cables arranged in the B flange of an electric motor can be installed only with difficulties and are complicated and time-consuming due to the restricted space conditions in the B flange. In order to improve this, it is proposed to recess the B flange'sfront sidefacing away from the electric motorat least in sections with respect to an imaginary surface normal to the longitudinal axisof the electric motorin the direction toward the motor housing, and to shape the B flange cover'sfront face resting against the B flangein a mirror-inverted manner to thereby improve the accessibility to the inside of the B flange
