The present invention relates to leg extension assembly comprising an outer sleeve member having a box leg member disposed therein, a telescopically collapsible inner leg member slidably mounted within said sleeve member, means for connecting said box leg member to said inner leg member, said means including a spring element which biases the inner leg member away from the box leg, and locking means for locking said inner leg at a selected extended length. The leg extension assembly may be incorporated into a leg element, or in the alternative, may be attached or otherwise affixed to an existing leg, such as an existing leg of, for example, a ladder, scaffold, sawhorse, table or chair by any means well known in the art.

Leg extension assembly

A drive belt release mechanism for magnetic disk drives for disengaging a drive belt from and engaging a drive belt onto a spindle drive pulley. To disengage the belt, the mechanism lifts the belt from the drive pulley and simultaneously permits the drive motor to pivot to relieve the tension in the drive belt. To engage the belt, the mechanism seats the belt on the pulley and forces the motor to a drive position which yields the desired drive tension in the belt. The mechanism is completely mechanical and manually operable.

Drive belt release mechanism for magnetic disk drives

A resettable overrun control valve includes a housing with a throughbore defining an inlet, an outlet and an intermediate valve seat. A valve disc is normally biased from the valve seat by a coil spring projecting the disc toward the inlet. An actuator stem connects to the valve disc and is responsive to a manually operable control rod projecting through the housing to engage the stem. Normal pneumatic pressure through the inlet permits air flow about the valve disc and through the outlet. If the pressure drop on the downstream side of the valve disc exceeds a predetermined limit, the valve disc is forced against the valve seat. This terminates air flow. Once the reason for the excessive air flow through the valve is corrected, the valve may be reset by actuating the manual rod against the stem. The biasing force on the valve disc is adjusted by means of a telescoping housing that cooperates with the valve body. The housing serves as an adjustable platform for the coil spring which biases the valve disc.

Resettable pneumatic overrun control valve

An automatic printed circuit board tester to test printed circuit boards and diagnose faults in digital and analog electrical circuit networks is disclosed. The system is comprised of control, stimuli, and interconnection networks in combination with measuring instrumentation. For automated fault isolation, a moving probe assembly driven by stepping motors controlled by a minicomputer is utilized. The fault isolation system establishes a fault path from an output pin to a terminal point within the network. The location of the terminal point together with a directed graph is utilized to select branches that could cause the failure.

Non-logic printed wiring board test system

A machine is equipped with a rotating support platform, which may have two distinct degrees of freedom or motion in the plane of said platform, which latter may be tilted at an angle to the horizontal. The body of a person mounting and bracing himself, or being placed on such platform is subject to downward as well as lateral gravitational forces as the platform rotates and/or translates. Muscular resistance to this pull produces an unusually effective and relatively effortless exercise and therapeutic effect. Angle of tilt and speed of rotation may be varied to suit the individual. When the body support function is combined with a two directional effect, the user can receive a direct indication of the sufficiency with which he is performing the exercising routine by means of suitably located indicating instruments.
