A method is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by an application on a communication device from an access device, a unique identifier associated with a resource provider in a transaction. The method also includes transmitting, by the application, a message comprising the unique identifier and an access data reference identifier associated with access data to a remote server computer associated with the application. The remote server computer searches a database for access data using the access data reference identifier, retrieves the access data, and provides the access data to a transport computer which processes the transaction using the access data.

Processing using machine readable codes and secure remote interactions

Systems and methods are presented for payment transaction overrides and system initiated payment splitting. In one embodiment, a first authorization request associated with a first account is monitored at an override computer, an override trigger is identified, and a transaction override approval is received. Override authorization requests are then sent, and responses to the override authorization requests are received at the override computer. A response to the initial authorization request is the sent based on the response received to the override authorization request. In alternative embodiments the override requests are cascaded, or include requests for new account creation.

Transaction overrides

A transaction terminal is configured with an application that is configured to present a user interface for out-of-band communication with a transaction handler during the processing of a payment transaction. The transaction handler is configured to invoke the application in the transaction terminal via transmitting a predetermined code in an authorization response message.
