An example server includes a memory configured to store sensor data from a plurality of sensors in a facility; a communications interface; and a processor interconnected with the memory and the communications interface, the processor configured to: in response to receiving, via the communications interface, an event indicator from a source sensor of a client device: identify a subset of the plurality of sensors based on the event indicator; retrieve and correlate the sensor data from the identified subset of the plurality of sensors in the facility; detect a candidate event associated with a user of the client device from the correlated sensor data; and when the candidate event is detected, send an event notification to the client device.

A system and method automatically determines aligned edges of display devices for an aggregate display. The system includes a first mobile unit (MU) and a second MU. The first and second MUs include respective emitters, sensors, transceivers, and display devices. The emitters of the MUs are activated to transmit edge patterns based upon an inter-device communication such that when one of the sensors of the first MU receives the edge pattern from the second MU and vice versa, the MUs have an aligned edge. Select emitters of the MUs are activated to transmit a further edge pattern based upon a further inter-device communication such that when a corresponding sensor of the first MU receives the further edge pattern from the second MU and vice versa, the aligned edges are verified to be aligned.

Described are a method and system for mobilizing a management service platform. A connection between a mobile unit ('MU') and a mobile service platform ('MSP') appliance is established within an operating environment. A user of the MU is authenticated as an administrator. Automatic Security Compliance Assessment (ASCA) systems and methods are provided for automatically generating and determining a security rating for a plurality of Settings Objects (SOs), where each of the SOs define particular configurations of subsystems of a wireless computing device. Each SO collectively defines a collection of Values specified for Configurable Attributes that can be used to define a different configuration for a particular subsystem associated with a particular Setting Class that is used to guide the creation of that particular SO. The server can store a group of security rating templates, each of which includes the information needed to determine an expected security rating for any SOs created per a particular Settings Class. For any combination of device settings, the resultant SOs can be used to generate an expected security rating. In addition, a security interaction template (SIT) and security test scripts can be generated that correspond to each particular group of SOs, and can be used to produce an Overall Device Security Rating (ODSR) for that particular group of SOs or a sub-set thereof.
