Polyethylene blends for blow molding processes are disclosed, comprising from 12 to 25 weight percent of high molecular weight component, 5 to 83 weight percent of a medium molecular weight component, and 5 to 83 weight percent of the low molecular weight component, wherein the ratio of high molecular weight to medium molecular weight is greater or equal to 1.7 and the ratio of medium molecular weight to low molecular weight is greater or equal to 1.7, and wherein the blend has a melt index in the range of 0.01 to 2.0.

Ethylene polymer composition for blow molding

Processing properties of polyethylene resins are improved while retaining original physical properties by incorporating less than 1.5 weight percent of high molecular weight, non-crystalline polyolefins into the polyolefin resins. The resulting compositions exhibit reduced melt viscosity at high shear rates while providing essentially unchanged finished physical properties of the polyethylene article.

Preparation of cinnamyl-substituted phenols

The use of a condensation reaction product of (1) meta-cresol, para-cresol or a mixture of meta and para cresols, and (2) an aldehyde defined by R-CHO wherein R is hydrogen or an alkyl group having at least 1 carbon atom as an antioxidant in organic compositions.
