The present invention provides a novel apparatus for delivering a surgical material to a target site within a body cavity. The apparatus is characterized in part by a rod-like member to which a support carrier and a separator layer are attached at a distal end thereof for securing the surgical material therebetween, and an introducer tube for insertion into the body cavity. In certain preferred embodiments of the present invention, the rod-like member is configured for axial flexibility at a distal end thereof. Methods also are disclosed for applying the surgical material to the target site using the apparatus of the present invention.

Device for delivery of surgical materials

A labeling system and storage and dispensing device for tab labels, for use with side tab folders for shelf filing systems or with top tab folders for drawer filing systems. The labeling system includes a plurality of tab labels having an adhesive backing. Each label has first and second side regions containing a white alpha-numeric character and a black background separated by a central colored region. The color of the central region is determined by the alpha-numeric character(s) formed on the side regions of the label. Patterns, such as lines or dots, may be combined with the solid colors, so that a given color may be used for more than one character. In further embodiments of the invention, the character(s) on the side regions may be oriented at right angles or at 180.degree. relative to each other. The storage and dispensing device comprises a plurality of pads of labels, arranged in a predetermined array and mounted on a relatively stiff substantially planar support which includes a stand member for mounting the support at an angle with respect to a horizontal surface. The dispenser allows a large number of labels to be stored compactly, and facilitates quick selection by eliminating any need to flip through pages or files, as all characters are visible at one time. The pads are mounted individually, to allow replacement of pads of labels of specific characters as each character is needed.

Color coded labeling system and dispenser therefor

A water purification system has a longitudinal ultraviolet tube, an arrangement of helically-wound coils surrounding the tube and a filter. Water is exposed to ultraviolet energy before and after flowing through the filter. The filter, ultraviolet tube and helically wound coils are all arranged within a unitary housing adapted for kitchen countertop, sink backsplash or under wall cabinet mounting. The system is capable of operatng directly from a kitchen sink faucet. Connecting elements for the coils are specially designed to be leak-proof. A closed, reflective chamber surrounds the ultraviolet arrangement.

Fluid purification systems

A cervical and head support pillow having an outer pillow covering with a top half and a bottom half. Inserted in the top half is a contoured foam core which provides cervical and head support to a user when the user is in a supine or a side-lying position. Two cervical rolls of different convexities are in the foam core and provide varying cervical support. The pillow also has foam inserts for insertion in the bottom half of the outer pillow covering. The inserts adjust the height of the pillow and also offer the user the feeling of less or more support for the head. One of the inserts has a v-shaped depression. The user aligns the 'v' in the depression with the desired cervical roll for maximum comfort. After the user inserts the desired insert pieces, the top half of the outer covering is folded over the bottom half of the covering and the pillow is closed by means of a zipper.
