An example method of providing a notification includes comparing a first code segment stored in a first page with a second code segment stored in a second page, before deployment of the second page in a production environment. The first page may be deployed in the production environment, and the second page may be a different version of the first page. The method also includes detecting a user interface (UI) modification based on comparing the first code segment with the second code segment. The method further includes providing a notification of the UI modification.

Split testing associated with detection of user interface (UI) modifications

A processing device can receive a request directed to an application such as a service and parse the request to determine a version identifier based on the content of the request. The processing device can acquire a version label corresponding to at least one instance of the application from among multiple instances of the application and match the version label and the version identifier, providing automatic detection and routing of a request to an instance of an application with the correct version. The computing device can store version labels and routing rules for each instance among the multiple instances of the application deployed in the network prior to receiving requests, or determine version labels and routing when a request is received.

Automatic version routing among multiple instances of an application

Systems and methods for detection and cleanup of unused microservices. An example method comprises: identifying, by a processing device, a microservice in a running state; identifying a network proxy associated with the microservice; monitoring traffic between the network proxy and the network; determining that the network proxy has no traffic with the network during a window, wherein the window is a predetermined period of time or a predetermined amount of data that is sent to or from the network; and deleting the microservice and the network proxy.

Detection and cleanup of unused microservices

Aspects of the disclosure provide for managing traffic for multiple versions of an application deployed in a computer system. A method of the disclosure includes: determining first workload information relating to a deployment of a first version of an application in a computer system and second workload information relating to a deployment of a second version of the application in the computer system; determining traffic information relating to the deployment of the first version of the application, wherein the traffic information comprises information about traffic handled by the first version of the application during a time frame; and determining an amount of traffic to be routed to the second version of the application in view of the first workload information, the second workload information, and the traffic information.

Traffic management for multiple versions of an application deployed in a computer system

Aspects of the disclosure provide for mechanisms for detecting and handling discrepancies between an external circuit breaker and an internal circuit breaker applicable to applications and/or services in a computer system. A method of the disclosure includes: determining, in view of a first circuit breaker applicable to a service hosted on a computer system, a first circuit breaking rule, wherein the first circuit breaker is applicable to one or more endpoints of the computer system; determining, in view of a second circuit breaker applicable to the service, a second circuit breaking rule; and generating a warning in response to detecting a discrepancy between the first circuit breaking rule and the second circuit breaking rule.

Detecting and handling discrepancies between external circuit breakers and internal circuit breakers

A processing device identifies a failure with at least one physical storage device of a first set of physical storage devices accessible to a virtualized environment via a logical storage domain. The logical storage domain has an assigned address. The processing device identifies a backup of the first set of physical storage devices. The backup includes a second set of physical storage devices. The processing device also prevents the virtualized environment from accessing the first set of physical storage devices. The processing device associates the second set of physical storage devices with the logical storage domain to cause storage access of the virtualized environment to be redirected to the second set of physical storage devices via the logical storage domain.

Managing storage connections

Systems and methods of reducing impact of resource downtime. In an example, a method includes monitoring user access to the resource. The method also includes identifying baseline patterns in the monitored user access to the resource. The method also includes defining downtime for the resource based on the baseline patterns and expected time for taking the resource down.
