A user interface that facilitates the selection and purchase of an item may be presented on a display. The user interface includes a presentation section and one or more other sections, such as a title section, buy section, alternate image section, package art section, review section, rating section, or other section. The presentation section may extend a full-width of a display or window available for display, while maintaining a desired aspect ratio. Video, slideshows, or other visual information may be played within the presentation section. One or more sections may overlay the presentation section. For example, at least a portion of the buy section may overlay at least a portion of the presentation section.

Method and system for displaying items provided by a merchant

Disclosed are various embodiments for customizing an item search and browsing experience based on a delivery speed preference. Multiple delivery speed options are generated for a client device, and a listing of the delivery speed options are sent to the client device. A user selection of a particular delivery speed option is then received from the client device. An item search criterion is received from the client device. A listing of items selected from an electronic item database is generated based at least in part on the item search criterion and item availability via the particular delivery speed option. Data encoding the listing of items is sent to the client device for rendering on a display.

Customizing item search and navigation based on user preferences

Techniques for generating and presenting user interfaces that provide a consolidated representation for same or similar products available for acquisition with variations of product attributes is described. A primary user interface (UI) for presenting a product having a product attribute may be presented via a device. The primary UI may present a representation of the product with an indication that alternate product(s) are available with alternate product attributes. Based on receiving a request to access information about the alternate product(s), a secondary UI may be generated for presenting the information about the alternate product(s). The secondary UI, which may overlay a portion of the primary UI, may be presented via the device. Based on receiving an indication of a selection of an alternate product, the presentation of the secondary UI may be terminated and the primary UI may be updated to reflect the selection of the alternate product.

Integration of item variations for display in user interfaces

Batch pricing of digital media items by providing an electronic cart interface for use in managing a purchase of a plurality of digital media items, each digital media item having a status of priced or unpriced. The interface enables a user of the client device to interactively select a plurality of media items to be priced as a batch of digital media items, and to sequentially request one or more rights for each of the selected media items within the batch. The user may obtain a price for each selected media item that is based on the designated pricing model and the one or more rights requested the digital media right to be licensed for each media item.
