The present invention relates to herbicidally active pyridino-/pyrimidino-thiazole derivatives, as well as to processes and intermediates used for the preparation of such derivatives. The invention further extends to herbicidal compositions comprising such derivatives, as well as to the use of such compounds and compositions in controlling undesirable plant growth: in particular the use in controlling weeds, in crops of useful plants.

Herbicidal pyridino-/pyrimidino-thiazoles

The present invention relates to herbicidally-active pyridino-/pyrimidino-pyrazole derivatives, as well as to processes and intermediates used for the preparation of such derivatives. The invention further extends to herbicidal compositions comprising such derivatives, as well as to the use of such compounds and compositions in controlling undesirable plant growth: in particular the use in controlling weeds, in crops of useful plants.

Herbicidal compounds

The present invention provides a compound of Formula (I) or an agronomically acceptable salt thereof, wherein: Ris selected from the group consisting of (A1), (A2) and (A3) wherein Xis N or CRXis N or CRXis N or CRXis N or CRR, R, R, RR, R, Rand Rare as defined herein. The invention further relates to herbicidal compositions which comprise a compound of Formula (I), and to their use for controlling weeds, in particular in crops of useful plants. 

Herbicidal pyridazinone derivatives

The present invention relates to a method of controlling weeds at a locus, said method comprising application to the locus of a weed controlling amount of a herbicidal composition comprising a compound of Formula (I), or an agronomically acceptable salt of said compounds wherein X, R, R, Rand Rare as defined herein. The invention further relates novel herbicidal compounds, to herbicidal compositions comprising said compounds and to their use for controlling weeds, in particular in crops of useful plants.

The use of a compound of formula (I) wherein X is (i), (ii) or (iii), formula (i), formula (ii), formula (iii) Y is O, S(O), NR, CRR, CRR&#x2014;CRR, O&#x2014;CRR, S(O)&#x2014;CRR, NR&#x2014;CRR, CRR&#x2014;O, CRR&#x2014;S(O), CRR&#x2014;NR, SO&#x2014;NR, NR&#x2014;SO, NR&#x2014;O or O&#x2014;NR; m is 0, 1, or 2; the ring (T) formula (T) is a 5- or 6-membered aromatic or heteroaromatic ring; Rto Rare specified organic groups and n and is 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4; or salts or N-oxides thereof or compositions containing them in controlling insects, acarines, nematodes or molluscs. Novel compounds are also provided.
