Handover procedure using resource status information

A system, method and apparatus for wireless communications is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives control information including first configuration parameters and second configuration parameters. The first configuration parameters are associated with a plurality of sets of reference signals associated with one or more transmission reception points (TRP)s and a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state. The second configuration parameters for reference signal measurements and reports for identified sets of reference signals. The UE transmits a measurement report based on the second configuration parameters and one or more identified sets of reference signals of the plurality of sets of reference signals. The UE receives scheduling information indicating a first TCI state associated with one or more identified TRPs of the plurality of TRPs of the network node. The scheduling information is based, at least in part, on a plurality of received measurement reports transmitted by a plurality of UEs.

Selective transmission reception point (TRP)-based communications for multicast and broadcast services

A method may include receiving, by a wireless device and during a random access procedure, a random access response indicating a first backoff time interval of a first sub-band of a cell, and indicating a second backoff time interval of a second sub-band of the cell. The method may include selecting, for a preamble retransmission of the random access procedure, a backoff time interval based on the first backoff time interval and the second backoff time interval. The method may include performing, at a time based on the backoff time interval, a listen-before-talk procedure.

The pre-configuration of a grant of a non-active bandwidth part (BWP) or other wireless resource may be beneficial to reduce signaling overhead. A base station may not need to transmit a DCI to activate a configured grant if the configured grant on a non-active BWP is activated based on switching an active BWP to a pre-configured BWP. If a configured grant on a non-active BWP is activated, a base station may not need to transmit a DCI on a new active BWP for a resource grant. A wireless device may receive a DCI indicating a switch an active BWP from a first BWP to a second BWP for a particular cell. The configured grants may be type 1 grant-free transmission that may not need activation signaling. The activation and/or deactivation of the one or more configured grants may depend on the state of the second BWP.

Activation and deactivation of configured grant

A base station transmits, to a wireless device, radio resource control (RRC) configuration parameters of a cell comprising a bandwidth part (BWP). The base station receive a radio link failure report indicating a connection failure during a random access procedure of the wireless device. The radio link failure report comprises a cell identifier of the cell and a parameter indicating a bandwidth of the BWP associated with the connection failure.

Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A base station may send, to a wireless device, a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) comprising a bandwidth part identifier field and a channel state information (CSI) report configuration field. Based on the MAC CE, the wireless device may activate the CSI report configuration for a bandwidth part indicated by the bandwidth part identifier field. The wireless device may transmit one or more CSI reports based on the CSI report configuration.

CSI transmission with multiple bandwidth parts

A base station may transmit CSI report configuration parameters for CSI reports via a first cell. The base station may further transmit a time pattern configuration parameter indicating first timings that the first cell is a PUCCH cell and second timings that a second cell is the PUCCH cell. The base station may receive a CSI report, scheduled for transmission in a report timing via the first cell, based on the report timing being within the first timings and based on the report timing not being within the second timings.

A message to schedule a transmission may be received without indicating a parameter for determining a power for the transmission. The transmission power may be determined based on a pathloss reference signal associated with a lowest index of a power control parameter set.

The one or more configuration parameters indicates a first sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set with a first SRS resource set identifier (ID) and a second SRS resource set with a second SRS resource set ID, wherein the first SRS resource set ID is lower than the second SRS resource set ID. A wireless device receives downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission. A wireless device transmits the PUSCH transmission using the first SRS resource set based on the first SRS resource set ID being lower than the second SRS resource set ID.

Shared uplink channel transmissions based on sounding reference signal resource sets

Wireless communication techniques using a power saving mode are described. A wireless device may be configured with a plurality of power saving configurations. A base station may transmit an indication of a power saving configuration in the plurality of power saving configurations. The wireless device may monitor a power saving channel based on the indicated power saving configuration.

Activation and deactivation of power saving operation

Wireless communications may be used to support data processing. A plurality of resources may be indicated for a wireless device to use to communicate and/or process data. Data may be received and processed based on groups of the plurality of resources to be used. For example, the plurality of resources to be used may be associated with different resource groups.

A wireless device receives downlink control information (DCI) comprising one or more fields set to one or more values. The wireless device validates, based on the one or more values, the DCI as an activation or a release of a configured grant of a bandwidth part (BWP) of BWPs of a cell. The wireless device transmits, based on validating the DCI, a confirmation of receiving the DCI, wherein the confirmation comprises an identifier of the BWP and an identifier of a sub-band of a plurality of sub-bands of the BWP.

Configured grant processes for wireless devices

A base station may transmit to a wireless device one or more configuration parameters. The one or more configuration parameters indicate: one or more physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources, and a default beam is used for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions. The bases station may transmit to the wireless device downlink control information (DCI), with DCI format 0_0, scheduling a PUSCH. The base station may receive from the wireless device, via the PUSCH, a transport block according to a default spatial relation in response to: a DCI format of the DCI being the DCI format 0_0, the configuration parameters indicating that the default beam is used, each PUCCH resource of the one or more PUCCH resources not being configured with a spatial relation, and the wireless device being in a radio resource control (RRC) connected mode.

Default spatial relation for physical uplink shared channel transmissions

A method comprises transmitting, by a base station, an uplink grant for consecutive subframes, the uplink grant indicating: a number of the consecutive subframes comprising a starting subframe and an ending subframe, and a hybrid automatic repeat request process number (HARQ ID); and receiving a packet via a first subframe of the consecutive subframes according to a first HARQ ID, wherein: the first HARQ ID is equal to ((the HARQ ID plus i) modulo a first pre-configured number); i indicates a subframe position of the first subframe in the consecutive subframes; and i is equal to zero for the starting subframe and i is equal to the first pre-configured number minus one for the ending subframe, regardless of an outcome of at least one listen-before-talk (LBT) for any subframe of the consecutive subframes before the first subframe.
