The invention relates to glass sheet having a composition comprising the following in weight percentage, expressed with respect to the total weight of glass: Total iron (expressed in the form of FeO) 0.002-0.15% Selenium (expressed in the form of Se) 0.0003-0.005% Cobalt (expressed in the form of Co) 0.00005-0.0015%; the glass sheet being characterized in that: N&#x2264;10.3*FeO+0.11; N being defined as Formula (I). Such a glass sheet has a high luminous transmittance and has colorless/achromatic edges (very neutral in color). This invention is particularly suitable due to its aesthetics as building glass or interior glass, like for example in furniture applications.

A glass sheet having a composition which comprises total iron (expressed in terms of FeO) from 0.002-0.06 wt %; chromium (expressed as CrO) from 3-75 ppm; and manganese (expressed as MnO) from 50-1,000 ppm. The glass sheet has a LTD4 higher than 70%. Such a glass sheet exhibits at once a high luminous transmission, an increased transmission of infrared (IR) radiation and a pleasing slight color or an almost neutral to neutral color.

The invention relates to a glass sheet having high transmission of infrared (IR) radiation. More specifically, the invention relates to a glass sheet having a composition which comprises, in a content expressed as percentages by total weight of glass: SiO55-85% AIO0-30% BO0-20% NaO 0-25% CaO 0-20% MgO 0-15% KO 0-20% BaO 0-20% total iron (expressed in the form of FeO) 0.002-1%, CrO0.001-0.5% Co 0.0001-0.5% Se 0.0003-0.5%. By virtue of its high transmission of IR radiation, said glass sheet can advantageously be used in a device using a technology requiring very good transmission of IR radiation, whether through the main faces or starting from their edge (for example, a screen or panel or pad) The invention thus also relates to the use of such a glass sheet in a device using infrared radiation propagating essentially inside said sheet.

The invention relates to substrates, in particular to transparent substrates, optionally colored, coated with an infrared-reflecting layer and capable of being used as glazing in buildings or in vehicles. Said coated substrates are made up of the combination of a glass substrate in which the composition has a redox of less than 15%, characterized by infrared reflection RIRso that RIR&#x2265;1.087*TL, wherein TLis the light transmission of the glass, and an infrared reflecting layer characterized by light transmission TLso that TL&#x2265;1.3*TIR, wherein TIRis the infrared transmission of the layer.

The invention relates to laminated glazing comprising a substrate, in particular a transparent substrate, optionally colored, coated with an infrared-reflecting layer and capable of being used as glazing in buildings or in vehicles. The coated substrate is made up of the combination of a glass substrate in which the composition has a redox of less than 15%, characterized by infrared reflection RIRV so that RIRV&#x2265;1.087*TLV, wherein TLV is the light transmission of the glass, and an infrared reflecting layer characterized by light transmission TLC so that TLC&#x2265;1.3*TIRC, wherein TIRC is the infrared transmission of the layer.
