Disclosed is a composition including (per 100% weight): a) 90 wt.-% to 99.0 wt.-% water including, in dissolved form, 0.002 mol/L to 0.1 mol/L of at least one salt of ammonium cation or of a monovalent or multivalent metal cation with an organic or inorganic anion; b) 0.5 wt.-% to 5 wt.-% of a crosslinked anionic polyelectrolyte; and c) 0.5 wt.-% to 5 wt.-% of a compound having formula (II): R&#x2014;(O&#x2014;CH&#x2014;CH)&#x2014;OH (II), where the weight ratio of the crosslinked anionic polyelectrolyte to the compound of formula (II) is greater than or equal to 0.2 and less than or equal to 2.0, and the molar ratio of the compound of formula (II) to the salt greater than or equal to 0.05 and less than or equal to 1. Also disclosed is a composition in cosmetics and a method for lightening the thickened salt-rich composition.

Thickened, clear salt-rich composition, method for lightening same, and use thereof in cosmetics

Methods for improving the foaming properties of cleansing and foaming formulations for topical use are presented. The methods comprise including in the formulation an effective amount of a polyol glycoside or a mixture of polyol glycosides of formula (I) R&#x2014;O-(G)-H, in which x is a decimal number between 1 and 5, G is a reducing sugar and Ris a radical of formula (A) &#x2014;CH&#x2014;(CHOH)&#x2014;CH&#x2014;OH, in which n is an integer equal to 2, 3 or 4, or Ris a radical of the formula (B) &#x2014;(CH&#x2014;CHOH&#x2014;CH&#x2014;O)&#x2014;H, in which m is an integer equal to 1, 2 or 3. Compositions containing compounds of formula (I) and methods of preparing the compositions are also presented. The methods and compositions can be applied to cosmetics and dermapharmaceuticals.

Cosmetic and pharmaceutical compositions comprising lauroyl proline and an ester of anhydrohexitol and of an aliphatic carboxylic acid

A method for improving foaming properties of cleansing and/or foaming formulations, compositions, methods for preparing them, and preparation of the topical formulations containing them are described. The method consists in including, in these formulations, an effective amount of a polyol glycoside or of a mixture of polyol glycosides of formula (I) R&#x2014;O-(G)x-H in which x is a decimal number ranging between 1 and 5, G is the residue of a reducing sugar and Ris a radical of formula (A) &#x2014;CH&#x2014;(CHOH)&#x2014;CH&#x2014;OH in which n is an integer equal to 2, 3 or 4, or else Ris a radical of the formula (B) &#x2014;(CH&#x2014;CHOH&#x2014;CH&#x2014;O)&#x2014;H in which m is an integer equal to 1, 2 or 3. Compositions contain compounds of formula (I) or mixtures of compounds of formula (I), foaming and/or detergent surfactants and topically acceptable solvents. Can be used in the cosmetics, dermopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical field.

Method of improving the ocular tolerance of foaming and/or detergent compositions for skin use

A composition and process of preparation of emulsifier agents based on an alkylpolyglycoside structure with a length of alkyl chain having from 6 to 12 carbon atoms to be used.
