A mixer for recirculating ash from solid fuel combustion with hydrated lime and water and to feed the mixture into a desulfurization reactor. The mixer includes a housing having a front wall, two outer vertical sidewalls, a rear wall, a top, and a bottom, the top includes a feed chute configured for the entry and addition of product to the mixer, and the front wall includes an opening for the mixture of product to exit. The mixer also includes a rotatable vertical shaft having an impeller, the impeller having a plurality of blades disposed on the vertical shaft in the same horizontal plane and distributed equidistantly about the circumference of the vertical shaft. The mixer also includes a vertical wall disposed within the housing forming a mixing region and a feeding region that is operably connected to the opening of the front wall.

The present disclosure deals with a gas cleaning system () for cleaning process flue gas. The gas cleaning system () comprises a reactor inlet duct () having a longitudinal axis and a reactor duct () fluidly connected perpendicularly to the reactor inlet duct and positioned downstream from the reactor inlet duct. The reactor duct likewise has a longitudinal axis. Within the reactor duct is a gas cleaning device (), such as a catalytic reactor, and a gas flow rectifier () for rectifying flue gas flow from the reactor inlet duct () into the reactor duct (). An air quality control system (AQCS)useful for treating flue gas FG, such as flue gas FG produced by a fossil fuel fired boileris described. The AQCSis equipped with a dust separator. The dust separatoris useful under relatively high dust load conditions downstream from a dry scrubber reactorwith limited equipment wear and limited space requirements. As such, the dust separator captures particulate matter with a dust trap that intercepts the flow of particulate matter for collection of the particulate matter in a hopper.

The invention pertains to fluegas recirculation in gas turbines, and specifically to an intake section upstream of the inlet of a compressor of a gas turbine unit with fluegas recirculation. The intake section includes at least one section with a flow path defined by sidewalls in which the fresh airflow of the intake air is flowing along a principal airflow direction, including at least one mixing duct extending into the flow path from at least one sidewall. The mixing duct includes an intake at the at least one sidewall for receiving recirculated fluegas, as well as including at least one outlet opening distanced from said sidewall for blowing recirculated fluegas out of the mixing duct into the airflow.
