Slave units of a mobile communication system each determine (S), out of a predefined sliding codebook of Q unique radio frame configurations, a radio frame configuration for communicating with user equipments, and transmit (S), to a master unit of a cluster which the slave units belong to, a request to use the determined radio frame configuration. The predefined sliding codebook comprises sub-codebooks each grouping together radio frame configurations of the Q unique radio frame configurations, that share the same downlink-to-uplink subframe ratio but with a phase offset of the radio frame configurations. The master unit identifies (S) a common sub-codebook out of the sub-codebooks of the predefined sliding codebook, that comprises most of the determined radio frame configurations indicated in the requests received from the slave units, and, for each of the determined radio frame configurations, selects (S, S, S, S) a radio frame configuration out of the Q unique radio frame configurations, that corresponds to a sub-codebook of the determined radio frame configuration and minimizes an average misalignment with a radio frame configuration of the common sub-codebook.

Radio frame configuration for dynamic coordinated TDD

An apparatus, method and computer program is described comprising: generating a local outage time database for a first cell of a mobile communication system, wherein the local outage time database stores first latency data for each of a plurality of devices served by the first cell, wherein each first latency data comprises time left to outage data for the respective device; sending selected parts of the local outage time database to one or more other cells of the mobile communication network; receiving second latency data from at least one of the one or more other cells of the mobile communication system, wherein said second latency data includes time left to outage data for one or more devices served by said other cells; and generating a multi-cell outage time database including some or all of the shared selected parts of the local outage time database and some or all of the received second latency data.

Inter-cell proactive co-ordination in telecommunication systems

The present invention introduces a method and a system for base station cross-channel measurement control and configuration. A centralized unit (CU) () of a base station configures () at least two distributed units (DU) () with DU sounding signaling transmission objects and DU cross-link measurement objects. The first DU () transmits () a sounding signal through an air interface () which the second DU () measures (). The second DU () reports () this to the CU (). Then the second DU () transmits () a sounding signal through an air interface () which the first DU () measures (). The first DU () reports () this to the CU (). Beam-forming can be applied as well. Also neighboring operators can be found by inter-frequency measurements of the sounding signals or Synchronization Signals. The CU () can control the DUs () with appropriate TDD switching patterns based on the found cross-link interference levels.

Cross-channel measurement control and configuration

Disclosed is a method comprising using a machine learning algorithm to select an antenna panel from a plurality of antenna panels. A first long-term reward value associated with the selected antenna panel is determined based at least partly on one or more first signals received on the selected antenna panel. A second signal is then transmitted or received via the selected antenna panel, if the first long-term reward value exceeds one or more second long-term reward values associated with at least a subset of the plurality of antenna panels.

A technique may include determining, by the ultra low latency user device, a decoder matrix; receiving, by the ultra low latency user device, control information indicating that a scheduled transmission of an ultra low latency data block to the ultra low latency user device is co-scheduled with a transmission of a mobile broadband data block to a mobile broadband user device via a set of shared physical resource blocks using multi-user multiple-input, multiple-output (MU-MIMO); and projecting, by the ultra low latency user device, the decoder matrix of the ultra low latency user device to be substantially orthogonal with a reference spatial subspace in which a precoder matrix for the mobile broadband user device is aligned with the reference spatial subspace, to reduce interference at the ultra low latency user device caused by the transmission of the enhanced mobile broadband data block, when receiving the ultra low latency data block.

Interference pre-cancellation for multi-user ultra low latency communications in wireless networks

Various communication systems may benefit from improved reduction of cross link interference. For example, certain embodiments may benefit from cross link interference suppression. A method, in certain embodiments, may include receiving, by a first network entity, at least one downlink precoder map from a second network entity over at least one interface. The method may also include estimating, by the first network entity, at least one basis of at least one common spatial sub-space associated with at least one, or all, identified BS-BS CLI source. In addition, the method may include for each reception associated with the first network entity, spatially projecting, by the first network entity, at least one interference rejection combining estimated interference covariance matrix into at least one orthogonal projector sub-space.
