According to certain embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device includes receiving, from a network node, downlink control information (DCI). The method also includes determining, based on the DCI, a first group of downlink channel sub-slots for downlink channel transmissions. The first group of downlink channel sub-slots corresponds to a group of uplink channel sub-slots and is associated with one or more uplink resources in the corresponding group of uplink channel sub-slots. The method additionally includes constructing a first HARQ codebook comprising acknowledgment (ACK) and/or negative acknowledgement (NACK) feedback for the downlink channel transmissions scheduled in the first group of downlink channel sub-slots. The method further includes transmitting the ACK and/or NACK feedback, using the one or more uplink resources, according to the first HARQ codebook.

Methods of HARQ codebook determination for low latency communications

A User Equipment (UE) () configured for operation in a wireless communication network () ignores a received preemption indicator responsive to determining that the involved data transmission by the UE () will carry Uplink Control Information (UCI) from the UE (), at least when the UCI is of a certain type or priority. For example, the UE () ignores the preemption indicator if the UCI is of the certain type or priority, and otherwise follows the preemption indicator by skipping the uplink data transmission. Correspondingly, a radio network node () configured for operation in the wireless communication network () determines whether an uplink data transmission by a UE () on certain radio resources will include UCI, and the radio network node () transmits or does not transmit a preemption indicator preempting use by the UE () of the certain radio resources for the uplink data transmission, in dependence on the determination.

Methods and apparatuses for controlling preemption of uplink transmissions in a communication network

According to certain embodiments, a method for use in a wireless device for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) on grant-free resources comprises reserving a subset of time/frequency resources of a grant-free uplink channel for transmitting UCI, and upon determining the wireless device has UCI to transmit on the grant-free uplink channel, transmitting the UCI to a network node in the reserved subset of time/frequency resources.

Systems and methods of HARQ codebook determination for multiple PUCCH are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method performed by a base station for constructing a semi-static HARQ codebook for each of multiple PUCCH resources in an uplink slot, each of the multiple PUCCH resources carrying HARQ feedback for PDSCH transmissions within a certain downlink time interval. The base station, based on a TDRA table, determines a sub-TDRA table for each downlink time interval comprising entries of the TDRA table with a TDRA ending in the downlink time interval. This includes pruning each sub-TDRA table to remove entries with overlapping TDRAs. The semi-static HARQ codebook is constructed for each pruned sub-TDRA table based on the remaining entries in the pruned sub-TDRA tables. The semi-static HARQ codebook is transmitted to the wireless device. In this way, it is possible to construct a semi-static HARQ codebook for multiple PUCCH transmission within a slot.

There is disclosed a method of operating a wireless device in a wireless communication network, the wireless device being triggered for transmission of first control information on a first transmission resource associated to a first transmission quality, the wireless device further being triggered for transmission of second control information on a second transmission resource associated to a second transmission quality. The method includes transmitting control signaling based on multiplexing first control information and second control information on a common transmission resource, the first control information being mapped to the common transmission resource based on at least one first scaling factor, and the second control information being mapped to the common transmission resource based on at least one second scaling factor. Resource scaling for URLLC transmissions

Modification of uplink (UL) data transmission with repetition in response to preemption indication is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a wireless device modifies UL data transmission with repetition responsive to receiving a preemption indication. The wireless device begins a UL data transmission comprising a plurality of repetitions of a data transmission, wherein at least two (2) repetitions are associated with different Redundancy Version (RV) values. The wireless device receives a first preemption indication during a first repetition of the plurality of repetitions, wherein the first repetition is associated with a RV value of X, and X is a positive integer. The wireless device then retransmits the first repetition of the UL data transmission reusing the RV value of X. In some embodiments, after receiving the first preemption indication, the wireless device may cancel the UL data transmission if a code rate of the UL data transmission exceeds a threshold rate.

Modification of uplink (UL) data transmission with repetition in response to preemption indication

There is disclosed a method of operating a wireless device in a wireless communication network. The method includes transmitting communication signaling on a transmission resource, the transmission resource being one of at least a first transmission resource and a second transmission resource available to the wireless device, the first transmission resource and the second transmission resource at least partially overlapping in time, the transmission resource being determined to be the first transmission resource or the second transmission resource based on a control information message received by the wireless device. Resource prioritisation in a wireless communication network

According to some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for decoding physical shared channels (PSCHs) comprises, for a plurality of PSCHs in a transmission time interval, determining a first PSCH of the plurality of PSCHs at least partially overlaps in time with a second PSCH of the plurality of PSCHs. Based on comparison of a common characteristic of the first PSCH and the second PSCH, the method comprises selecting one of the first PSCH and the second PSCH to decode and decoding the selected PSCH.

A method, system and apparatus for uplink transmission cancellation are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method includes receiving a cancellation indication of uplink resources to be cancelled, determining protected uplink resources to be protected from cancellation, and cancelling transmissions on uplink resources indicated to be cancelled other than uplink resources determined to be protected from cancellation.

Methods of uplink transmission cancellation

Systems and methods for priority-dependent Uplink Control Information (UCI) resource determination are provided. In some embodiments, a wireless device determines that one or more UCIs are to be multiplexed onto a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH); determines priorities of the PUSCH and/or each of the one or more UCIs; determines at least one beta offset value for one or more UCIs based on one or more of the priorities; set or adjust a UCI code rate based on the at least one beta offset value; and transmit a UCI according to the UCI code rate. This provides a simple and consistent method to deduce beta offset value for UCI based on priorities of UCI and PUSCH. The solution supports possible multiple different beta offset values determined without extra explicit signaling, i.e., it helps to reduce DCI bits needed to indicate potentially multiple beta offset values.

There is disclosed a method of operating a wireless device in a wireless communication network, the wireless device being triggered for transmitting first signaling representing first information on a first resource structure, second signaling representing second information on a second resource structure and third signaling representing third information on a third resource structure, the second resource structure at least partially overlapping with the first resource structure and/or the third resource structure, the second resource structure being associated to a lower priority of transmission than the first resource structure and the third resource structure, the method including transmitting the first information and the third information, omitting transmitting the second signaling and/or second information. A method and apparatus are disclosed for downlink semi-persistent scheduling configuration. In one embodiment, a method for a wireless device (WD) includes receiving at least one downlink, DL, semi-persistent scheduling, SPS, configuration; using at least one HARQ timing offset value out of a plurality of HARQ timing offset values corresponding to the at least one DL SPS configuration to determine an uplink, UL, slot to send HARQ feedback for a plurality of physical downlink shared channel, PDSCH, transmissions, the plurality of PDSCH transmissions being associated with the at least one DL SPS configuration; and optionally, sending the HARQ feedback based at least in part on the at least one HARQ timing offset value. Hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for multiple physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) with downlink (DL) semi-persistent scheduling

A method, system, network node and wireless device are disclosed. According to one or more embodiments, a wireless device is provided. The wireless device includes processing circuitry configured to: receive a pre-emption indication indicating a pre-emption time period for pre-empting an uplink transmission during the pre-emption time period; cancel at least a first portion of a first uplink transmission that is arranged to occur during the pre-emption time period; and if the first uplink transmission includes a second portion arranged to occur before the pre-emption time period, cancel the second portion of the first uplink transmission based on a temporal criterion being met.
