The disclosure relates to a control device, in particular in an electromechanical camshaft adjuster, comprising an electric motor and a control transmission coupled to the electric motor via a coupling element and designed as a harmonic drive. A two-armed wire coupler is provided as the coupling element, the arms of which engage in openings of an inner ring of a waveform generator of the control transmission, and the wire coupler has a winding which is wound around the motor shaft of the electric motor in a non-rotating manner.

Control device

A hydraulic camshaft adjuster (), in which the locking system () includes a first and a second control element (). In order to approach the middle position easily, the first control element () has a first and a second switching position, wherein in the first switching position a fluidic connection between the hydraulic pump (P) and a first of the two sub-chambers (B) and a fluidic connection between the other, second sub-chamber (A) and the tank (T) can be established, and in the second switching position a fluidic connection between the hydraulic pump (P) and the second of the two sub-chambers (A) and a fluidic connection between the other, first sub-chamber (B) and the tank (T) can be established, and the second control element () is free from different switching positions and has no influence on the flow of hydraulic fluid.

Hydraulic camshaft adjuster

The disclosure relates to a camshaft adjusting device with a dry belt, a central valve arranged within a camshaft adjuster, and an actuator acting on the central valve. An oil-tight wet space is formed by the camshaft adjuster and the actuator or a component supporting the actuator, and oil present in the wet space can be evacuated by means of an oil path. A portion of this oil path extends axially through the output element of the camshaft adjuster. This oil path can pass the end-side contact face between the output element and camshaft, opening out into an axial bore of the camshaft which is distanced radially from the axis of rotation of the camshaft adjusting device. The axial bore runs beneath an oil feed connection formed on the outer surface of the camshaft for feeding oil to the central valve.

Camshaft adjusting device

A camshaft adjuster, comprising a drive element and an output element, wherein the drive element can be rotated in relation to the output element within an angular range between an early and a late position. The camshaft adjuster also includes a spring configured to brace the drive element with the output element, wherein the spring is configured to rotate the drive element in relation to the output element into a desired position within the angular range and is further configured to angularly adjust from both an early position and a late position into a direction of the desired position.

A camshaft adjusting device () is provided having a camshaft adjuster () and a camshaft () characterized in that the camshaft () include a camshaft end () which is designed to receive a first hydraulically actuatable camshaft adjuster () as well to receive a second hydraulically actuatable camshaft adjuster ().

Camshaft adjusting devices are disclosed. In one example, a camshaft adjusting device may include a camshaft adjuster and a camshaft. The camshaft may include a camshaft end which is configured both to receive a hydraulically actuatable camshaft adjuster and to receive an electromechanically actuatable camshaft adjuster. The camshaft end may have two different threads for receiving a bolt.

A camshaft adjusting device, including a vane cell adjuster is provided. The vane cell adjuster includes a stator-that can be connected to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, a rotor, which is rotatably supported in the stator and can be connected to a camshaft and has a plurality of working chambers, which are provided between the stator and the rotor and to which a pressure medium can be applied, and a central screw for clamping the rotor to the camshaft by clamping surfaces of the rotor and of the camshaft facing each other. At least one of the clamping surfaces of the rotor and/or of the camshaft is profiled at least in some sections in order to create a form-closed connection.

Camshaft adjuster

A hydraulic camshaft adjuster () of the vane cell type is provided, including: a stator () that is set up for non-rotatable connection to an inner shaft () of a double camshaft (), wherein a connecting element () for non-rotatable accommodation of the inner shaft () is accommodated in the stator () in a form-locking manner; and including a rotor () which is rotatable relative to the stator () and which is set up for non-rotatable connection to an outer shaft () of the double camshaft (), wherein the connecting element () is accommodated in the stator () with clearance for compensating axial tolerances and/or a relative tilting of the shafts () in an operating state of the camshaft adjuster (). A valve drive unit () including such a camshaft adjuster () is also provided.

Camshaft adjuster link to a double camshaft

A camshaft adjuster () including a stator () and a rotor (), a spring () tenses the rotor () rotationally counter to the stator (). According to the invention, the spring is a coil spring (), the stator () includes a first recess () of a first free end () of the coil spring () and the rotor () includes a second recess () for a second free end () of the coil spring ().

A camshaft adjuster () for driving and/or adjusting a camshaft () of an internal combustion engine, including a stator () and a concentric rotor () which is arranged within the stator in a rotatable manner. At least the stator () has a central receiving area () for receiving the camshaft (), and at least one projection () which protrudes radially inwards is provided on a radial inner edge () of the central receiving area () in order to engage behind a camshaft () connecting piece () which protrudes radially outwards. A camshaft adjuster/camshaft combination () including such a camshaft adjuster () and a camshaft () which has a connecting piece () that projects radially. The projection () preferably engages behind the connecting piece (). A method for assembling the camshaft adjuster/camshaft combination () is also provided.

A control valve () for controlling pressure medium flows of a camshaft adjuster which includes a substantially hollow cylindrical valve housing (), a control piston (), which is guided axially displaceably inside the valve housing (), and a non-return valve () which can be hydraulically released. In a region of a pressure medium inlet, the valve housing () includes a housing shaft () with an axial inflow bore () which widens in funnel-like manner towards the inlet side.

Control valve for a camshaft adjuster

A device for changing the relative angular position of a camshaft with respect to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, wherein the drive element is rotatably mounted with respect to the crankshaft and is driven by the camshaft. Between the drive element and the camshaft at least two hydraulic chambers are formed, wherein the hydraulic chambers can be pressurized with a pressurized fluid in order to set a defined relative rotational position between the drive element and the camshaft. The device includes a housing element, wherein a pressure reservoir having a pressure chamber for pressurized fluid is arranged on the housing element and wherein the basic form of the pressure reservoir is substantially cylindrical. The pressure reservoir is disposed on the housing element in such a manner that the cylindrical lateral face thereof abuts a lateral portion of the housing element, wherein at least one fluid connection is formed between the housing element and the pressure chamber of the pressure reservoir.

Device for changing the relative angular position of a camshaft with respect to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine

A camshaft adjusting device, including a camshaft () and a camshaft adjuster () having a stator () that can be connected to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine and a rotor () that is rotatably mounted in the stator () and can be connected to the camshaft () and a clamping device () for clamping the rotor () to the camshaft and a rolling bearing () absorbing both axial and radial forces for mounting the camshaft adjusting device in a stationary housing (), wherein the rotor () is clamped to the camshaft () by the clamping device () via an inner ring () or an outer ring () of the rolling bearing ().

A camshaft adjusting device for an internal combustion engine including: a vane-type adjuster actuable by a pressure medium and which is rotationally fixed to a camshaft by a rotor and rotationally fixed to a crankshaft by a stator; a central valve has a displaceable valve body, by which a pressure medium is fed to the vane-type adjuster via a pump from a reservoir, the medium being selectively introduced into different working chambers and fed back from other working chambers to the reservoir, depending on the position of the valve body. The device includes a rolling bearing, by which the end section of the camshaft facing the vane-type adjuster is mounted in relation to a fixed housing wall. An axially oriented through-flow opening extends through the rolling bearing through which the pressure medium delivered by the pressure flows in an axial direction to the central valve.

A camshaft adjusting device for an internal combustion engine including: a rotor that can be rotationally fixed to a camshaft of the internal combustion engine; a pot-shaped stator that encompasses the rotor and can be driven by a crankshaft; and an annular chamber situated between the stator and the rotor and subdivided into multiple pressure chambers by stator ribs that are located on the stator and that extend up to the rotor. Each pressure chamber is subdivided into two working chambers (A,B) by vanes provided on the rotor. The device also includes a central valve () which has a displaceable valve body (), by which a pressure medium that is fed via a pressure medium pump (P) from a pressure medium reservoir (T) can be selectively introduced into the working chambers (A,B) on one side of the vanes and can be fed back from the working chambers (A,B) on the other side of the vanes to the pressure medium reservoir (T), depending on a position of the valve body (). A pressure limiting valve () is provided in the camshaft adjusting device, said valve allowing the pressure medium to be fed back to the pressure medium reservoir (T), or to the pressure medium pump (P), if a predefined pressure is exceeded in the camshaft adjusting device.
