A radio frequency (RF) transponder (RF tag) is proposed, where a high dielectric constant material is used in operative cooperation with a tag antenna so that the distance of the tag antenna from conducting or absorbing surfaces may be reduced, and so the tag dimensions may be reduced.

An improved, aqueous base developable, high resolution photoresist composition for use in deep UV and compatable with high base strength aqueous developers is disclosed. The composition of the present invention comprises of a phenolic functional methacrylate polymer resin, a crosslinker selected from glycoluril derivatives capable of reacting with there resins under acid catalysis, a photoacid generator and an organic solvent. The composition of the present invention is particularly useful for production of negative tone images of high resolution (less than 0.125 micrometer).

High resolution crosslinkable photoresist composition, compatable with high base concentration aqueous developers method and for use thereof

A high-performance radiation sensitive silicon-containing negative-tone resist is provided along with a method of using the silicon-containing resist in multilayer, including bilayer, imaging for manufacturing semiconductor devices. The negative-tone silicon-containing resist is based on an acid catalyzed high-contrast crosslinking of aqueous base soluble silicon-containing phenolic polymers through reaction of a carbocation of the crosslinking agent with the hydroxyl site of the phenolic group in the silicon-containing polymers. A chemically amplified silicon-containing negative-tone resist composition comprising said silicon-containing polymer resin; at least one crosslinking agent; one acid generator; and a solvent is provided. The silicon-containing resist composition has high silicon content and provide excellent resolution and a means of patterning high aspect ratio resist patterns. The resist compositions can be used as the top imaging layer in a multilayer, including bilayer, scheme to fabricate semiconductor devices using various irradiation sources, such as mid-ultraviolet (UV), deep-UV, extreme UV, X-ray, e-beam and ion-beam irradiation.

Biobased cross-linked compositions, methods of fabrication and structures, in particular biobased printed wiring boards using the compositions and methods of making the structures are described. Biobased materials such as lignin, crop oils, wood resins, tannins, and polysaccharides and combinations thereof are cross-linked, preferably using heat, a cross-linking agent, and an initiator. The materials fabricated have suitable properties for printed wiring boards which are made by impregnating a fiberglass or biobased cloth with an admixture of the biobased material, cross-linking agent and initiator which is processed by conventional methods to produce a printed wiring board.

Disclosed are charge transfer complexes based on a polyaniline in combination with an organic electron electron acceptor. The resulting conductive polymer possesses enhanced electrical, thermal and solubility properties over known conductive polymers. Also disclosed is a charge transfer based composition of matter whose electrical conductivity, chemical and physical properties are further enhanced by doping with protonic acid. The composition is prepared by a simple method and has widespread application in the printed circuit field, and in various other devices.

Electrically conductive and abrasion resistant polymeric compositions, methods of fabrication thereof and uses thereof are described. Admixtures of abrasion resistant materials and electrically conductive polymeric materials are formed. Many of these admixtures are light transmitting and can be used as an abrasion resistant light transmitting electrostatic discharge layers. The light transmitting discharge layer is useful as a surface coating for visual displays such as CRT screens to avoid electrostatic accumulation of dust and scratching. The compositions can be admixtures of abrasion resistant silicones, polysiloxanes, acrylates, epoxies, methacrylates, epoxyacrylates, epoxymethacrylates, styrenes and electrically conductive polymers selected from the group of substituted and unsubstituted polyanilines, polyparaphenylenevinyles, substituted and unsubstituted polythiophenes substituted and unsubstituted poly-p-phenylene sulfides, substituted and unsubstituted polyfuranes, substituted and unsubstituted polypyrroles, substituted and unsubstituted polyselenophenes, polyacetylines formed from soluble precursors, combinations thereof and blends thereof with other polymers. The compositions can be a layer of an electrically conductive polymer with an abrasion resistant layer thereover.
