A method, system and apparatus are disclosed. According to one or more embodiments, a network node is provided. The network node includes processing circuitry configured to: assign a plurality of wireless devices respective sounding reference signal, SRS, sequences of a common set of SRS sequences where the common set of SRS sequences are shared among a first radio access technology, RAT, and a second RAT, and receive SRS sequences according to the assignment of the respective SRS sequences of the common set of SRS sequences.

Sharing of sounding reference signals (SRS) resources between new radio and long term evolution

A method in a transmitter comprises transmitting a first data block to a first user, using an index modulation scheme and using SSD for transmitting the first data block. In some embodiments, the index modulation scheme is index-modulated OFDM and the indices comprise subcarrier indices. The method further comprises determining that a retransmission of the first data block to the first user is needed, and rearranging a bit mapping of bits in the first data block to indices used in the index modulation scheme, compared to a bit mapping previously used for transmitting the first data block to the first user using the index modulation scheme. The method further comprises retransmitting the second data block to the first user, where this retransmitting comprises using the index modulation scheme with the rearranged bit mapping and using SSD.

Enhanced retransmission scheme for index modulation in NOMA

Methods and apparatuses for determining channel state information interference measurement resources

A method, system and apparatus for sharing of physical random access channel (PRACH) resources between New Radio (NR) and Long Term Evolution (LTE) radio access technologies (RATs) are disclosed. According to one aspect, a network node is provided. The network node includes processing circuitry configured to: receive a physical random access channel, PRACH, signal from a wireless device; correlate the PRACH signal with one of at least two orthogonal sequences from a common set of sequences shared among a first radio access technology, RAT, and a second RAT; and determine whether the wireless device is operating according to one of the first RAT and the second RAT based at least in part on the correlation.

Sharing of physical random channel resources among different radio access technologies

A network node, wireless device and methods for co-phasing for beamforming using co-phasing matrices for wireless communications are provided. In one example, a network node for co-phasing in beamforming for transmissions is provided. The network node includes processing circuitry including a processor and a memory where the memory contains instructions executable by the processor to configure the network node to: obtain co-phasing information associated with a wireless device, generate at least two co-phasing matrices based on the co-phasing information, and apply the at least two co-phasing matrices to at least two resource structures.
