In one aspect, a centering sleeve is disclosed herein that includes a hub defining a central opening extending in an axial direction between a first axial end and a second axial end. At least one of the first axial end or the second axial end includes a plurality of fluid grooves on an axially outer surface. Both the first axial end and the second axial end can include the plurality of fluid grooves.

Centering sleeve for torque converter assembly

A centrifugal pendulum device is provided having a weight carrier disc an opening and guide tracks arranged on a radially outer region thereof and including damper spring openings in a radially inner region thereof. A centrifugal weight is disposed displaceably on the weight carrier disc, with the centrifugal weight including two side elements that each include weight guide tracks, and spacing bolts arranged between the two side elements. At least one of the spacing bolts extends through the opening of the weight carrier disc, and the centrifugal weight is guided displaceably on the weight carrier disc by roller elements that run on the guide tracks and the weight guide tracks. In order to reduce weight and provide additional flexibility, the weight carrier disc comprises a first plate that includes the radially inner region that is connected to at least one second plate that includes the radially outer region.

Segmented centrifugal pendulum absorber mass carrier

A centrifugal pendulum absorber includes: a center plate arranged to receive a torque; a first pendulum connected to the center plate; and a second pendulum mass connected to the center plate and circumferentially aligned with the first pendulum mass. The first pendulum mass includes a first circumferential end and a first curved portion disposed at the first circumferential end. The second pendulum mass includes a second circumferential end disposed proximate to the first circumferential end and a second curved portion disposed at the second circumferential end. The first curved portion and the second curved portion are each convex relative to a first circumferential direction from the first circumferential end to the second circumferential end.

A K0 clutch includes a housing, a piston, and an apply chamber. The housing includes an axial wall and a port extending radially outward from the axial wall. The piston includes a seal engaged with the axial wall. The piston is axially slidable relative to the axial wall. The apply chamber is disposed between the piston and the housing. The apply chamber is selectively fluidly communicable with the port based on a pressure in the apply chamber.

A hybrid module includes a rotor carrier. The hybrid module further includes a rotor segment supported by the rotor carrier. The hybrid module further includes a torque converter having an impeller having an impeller shell fixed to the rotor carrier. The impeller shell and the rotor carrier define a housing therebetween. The torque converter further includes a turbine having a turbine shell in fluid communication with the impeller shell. The turbine is disposed within the housing. The hybrid module further includes a drive plate assembly disposed external to the housing. The drive plate assembly includes an inner drive plate fixed to the rotor carrier. The drive plate assembly further includes an outer drive plate fixed to the inner drive plate and configured to receive a torque.

A stator assembly for a torque converter includes a body and a washer. The body is rotatable about an axis and has a cavity defined by an axial wall radially spaced from the axis and a radial wall extending radially inward from the axial wall. The washer is disposed in the cavity and is configured to be compressed against the radial wall. The washer includes a base and a plurality of circumferentially spaced from each other and extending radially outward from the base. The plurality of tabs are configured to non-rotatably connect to the axial wall.

Stator assembly

A flexplate for a motor vehicle drivetrain includes a carry plate configured for being connected to an engine crankshaft and a drive plate. The drive plate and the carry plate are separate components attached directly via contact. The drive plate is configured for transferring torque input into the carry plate to a downstream component. A method of constructing a flexplate for a motor vehicle drivetrain includes stamping a carry plate configured for being connected to an engine crankshaft; stamping a drive plate separate from the carry plate; and attaching the drive plate and the carry plate directly together via contact. The drive plate is configured for transferring torque input into the carry plate to a downstream component.
