An aerosol provision device for generating aerosol from a plurality of aerosol generating areas each configured to receive an aerosol precursor material can include a power source for providing power to a first atomizing element configured to generate aerosol from a first aerosol precursor material present in a first aerosol generating area and to a second atomizing element configured to generate aerosol from a second aerosol precursor material present in a second aerosol generating area; and power distribution circuitry configured to distribute power between the first atomizing element and the second atomizing element based on at least one parameter of the aerosol precursor material currently present in the first aerosol generating areas and the second aerosol generating area, respectively, wherein the at least one parameter is at least one of a presence of a first aerosol generating component including the first aerosol precursor material in the first aerosol generating area or a presence of a second aerosol generating component including the second aerosol precursor material in the second aerosol generating area.

Electronic aerosol provision system

A flavor delivery device for adding flavor to an aerosol stream generated by a smoking article includes an electrical heating element configured for connection to an electrical power source; and a portion of flavorant provider arranged to receive heat from the heating element, the flavorant provider including flavorant material held in a substrate material, the flavorant material able to form a vapor and the substrate material softenable under the application of heat, such that provision of electrical power to the heating element delivers heat to the flavorant provider to soften at least part of the substrate material and release at least some of the flavorant material as a vapor. The smoking article may be an electronic aerosol provision system or a combustible smoking article.

Flavor delivery device

An article for generating an inhalable medium using an irradiative light source. The article includes smokable material including at least two regions having a different composition from each other. The article is arranged such that the at least two regions of smokable material can be heated by light emitted by an irradiative light source of an apparatus with which the article can be engaged in use.

An aerosol provision device for generating aerosol for user inhalation can include a first aerosol generating area and a second aerosol generating area each for receiving an aerosol precursor material; a mouthpiece from which a user inhales generated aerosol during use, wherein the mouthpiece comprises first and second mouthpiece openings; a first pathway extending from the first aerosol generating area to the first mouthpiece opening for transporting a first aerosol generated from the aerosol precursor material in the first aerosol generating area; and a second pathway extending from the second aerosol generating area chamber to the second mouthpiece opening for transporting a second aerosol generated from the aerosol precursor material in the second aerosol generating area, wherein the first and second pathways are physically isolated from one another to prevent mixing of the first and second aerosols as the first and second aerosols are transported along the respective pathways.

An aerosol delivery device including a power supply; a vaporizer arranged to selectively receive power from the power supply to generate an aerosol from an aerosol precursor material for user inhalation; and a first electrical interface arranged to provide an electrical connection between the aerosol delivery device and a second aerosol delivery device so as to at least one of: supply power to or receive power from the second aerosol delivery device, or supply control signals to or receive control signals from the second aerosol delivery device.

Aerosol delivery system

There is described an apparatus for heating aerosolizable material to volatilize at least one component of the aerosolizable material. The apparatus includes a heating chamber for containing aerosolizable material and a first heater arrangement for heating aerosolizable material contained in use within the heating chamber. The first heater arrangement is arranged to heat at least two sides of the aerosolizable material in the heating chamber. There is further provided an air flow channel outside of the heating chamber that runs alongside the first heater arrangement and is arranged such that, in use, when a user draws on a device comprising the apparatus, air flows into the apparatus and through the air flow channel so as to be preheated in the air flow channel by the first heater arrangement before flowing into the heating chamber and through the aerosolizable material.

Apparatus for volatilizing aerosolizable material

There is described a chain of pouches including a plurality of pouches each pouch containing aerosolizable material. Each pouch in the chain is connected to at least one other pouch in the chain by a respective weakened region. The chain is arranged to be foldable and breakable at each respective weakened region. Each pouch is porous to enable aerosol to flow through or out of the pouch.

There is provided an aerosolizable product comprising an aerosol forming material, wherein the aerosol forming material is infused with smoke from tobacco. There is further provided an aerosolizable product comprising an aerosol forming material, wherein the aerosol forming material is selected from polyhydric alcohols (such as glycerol, propylene glycol and triethylene glycol), esters (such as triethyl citrate and triacetin), high boiling point hydrocarbons, non-polyols (such as glycols, sorbitol and lactic acid), and mixtures thereof; and wherein the aerosol forming material is infused with smoke from a plant material.

In combination, an article containing smokable material and an apparatus for volatilizing at least one component of the smokable material. The article is engageable with the apparatus and disengageable from the apparatus. The smokable material is a layer on at least one surface of the article. The apparatus includes comprises an irradiative light source for generating light. The article and the apparatus are arranged such that the irradiative light source and the smokable material overlap radially of the apparatus when the article is engaged with the apparatus. The irradiative light source is configured to emit light radially of the apparatus so as to impinge upon the smokable material on the at least one surface of the article to volatilize at least one component of the smokable material. The irradiative light source and the smokable material are movable relative to each other when the article is engaged with the apparatus to enable light emitted by the irradiative light source to be selectively directed in use to different portions of the smokable material on the at least one surface of the article.

Described is an aerosol provision device for generating aerosol to be inhaled by a user from a plurality of discrete aerosol generating areas each containing an aerosol generating component, the aerosol provision device including a mouthpiece from which a user inhales generated aerosol during use; a first flow pathway arranged to pass through a first aerosol generating area and fluidly connected to the mouthpiece; and a second flow pathway arranged to pass through a second aerosol generating area and fluidly connected to the mouthpiece, wherein the first and second flow pathways are each provided with a flow restriction member configured to vary the flow of air through the respective flow pathways based on the presence of an aerosol generating component in the respective aerosol generating areas in the device and/or a parameter associated with the respective aerosol generating component in the device.

An aerosol provision system includes one or more receptacles each forming a respective central space, a base adapted to support the or each receptacle, the or each receptacle being removable from the base and at least a first airflow generator, operable to draw air through at least a first aerosol generator, wherein the base includes one or more outlets through which, in operation, aerosolized payload is directed to flow from the base into the central space of a respective receptacle and the or each receptacle comprises a first opening through which the user can inhale the aerosolized payload.

Aerosol provision system having a base for supporting one or more receptacles

A machine for dispensing a vaporizable liquid into a container for use in an electronic inhalation device is disclosed. The machine comprises a reservoir of liquid, a dispensing port to receive an empty container to be filled, and a dispensing mechanism fluidly connected to the reservoir for dispensing a quantity of liquid from the reservoir to a container received in the dispensing port. The machine also comprises a controller connected to the dispensing mechanism to control operation thereof, and a user-operable interface connected to the controller for a user to actuate the machine. Also disclosed is a method of operation of such a machine and a system of a plurality of such machines.
