Method for controlling operation of an electrical machine, in particular of an electrical machine of a motor vehicle, an operating state of the electrical machine being switched between an active short circuit mode and at least one further operating mode. When switching between the short circuit mode and the at least one further operating mode, a duty factor of an operating signal, in particular of a PWM signal, of the electrical machine is changed in a ramp-shaped manner at least in sections.

Method for controlling operation of an electrical machine

The current embodiments provide a method for controlling an induction machine with a plurality of phases. Each phase may include a plurality of parallel windings and each phase may be associated with a half-bridge. The method may include determining a current in a winding of a first phase. The method may further include determining a phase current on the basis of the current in the winding, and controlling the half-bridge associated with the first phase based on the determined phase current.

Control of a rotating field machine

In a method for producing a winding for electrical machines, a plurality of conductor elements are fitted on a winding former or stator tooth. The conductor elements are aligned parallel to one another in a predetermined order and are placed alongside one another in a slot while being fitted onto the winding former, with the predetermined order being reversed at least once while being fitted, so that the elements change their position on the winding former, at least in places. The winding process is carried out by machine, with the winding former being rotated under a number of wire guide nozzles, the wire guide nozzles being rotated through 180&deg; as a group after a defined number of turns.

Method for producing a winding, and winding for electrical machines, as well as an electrical machine

An electromagneto-mechanical converter has winding teeth composed of a material which is suitable for carrying a magnetic flux of a magnetic circuit. The winding teeth each have a winding support element for accommodating a winding, an attachment region for attaching the winding tooth to a yoke of the electromagneto-mechanical energy converter, and a transition element which tapers from the winding supporting element to the attachment region and is immediately adjacent to the yoke of the electromagneto-mechanical converter. The attachment region has a magnetic reluctance which is greater than that of the winding supporting element and the transitional element owing to a change in the grain structure of the material, so that the magnetic flux which enters the transitional element from the winding supporting element is substantially passed from the transitional element into the yoke, and the attachment region is substantially free of magnetic flux.

Electromagneto-mechanical converter

A drive system for a motor vehicle includes a drive shaft with a flywheel mass arrangement provided thereon, an electric machine for driving the drive shaft and/or obtaining electric energy from the rotating drive shaft. The electric machine has a stator arrangement and a rotor arrangement which can be rotated by the drive shaft. The rotor arrangement is connected via the flywheel mass arrangement to the drive shaft. Furthermore, the rotor arrangement is connected to the flywheel mass arrangement via a connecting region having a higher resistance to thermal conduction than at least one of the regions that adjoins the connecting region.

Drive system

A power electronics device for controlling an electric machine, for example a permanently excited synchronous machine includes a plurality of capacitors and power semiconductors connected to a bus bar. To measure currents through the bus bar, the bus bar includes at least one portion with a shaped section. This at least one portion comprises an essentially U-shaped configuration. A sensor of a current-measuring device is provided in the vicinity of the at least one portion to measure the current flowing therethrough. The sensor is designed to measure an electric and/or magnetic field in the bus bar and is in turn connected to an evaluation device. The sensor and/or the evaluation device are disposed on at least one control printed circuit board of the power electronics device, which is arranged underneath the bus bar.

Bus bar for connecting electrical components with arrangement for measuring current and power electronics for controlling an electric machine

A stator for an electrical machine includes a stator yoke and a plurality of stator coils arranged on the stator yoke. An interconnection arrangement is arranged on one end face of the stator yoke. The interconnection arrangement has connecting conductors which are electrically insulated from one another. The connecting conductors are arranged concentrically with respect to one another and each have a different diameter. The connecting conductors have connections for the ends of the stator coils and for connection to the electrical machine. To minimize the space requirement of the stator and simultaneously allow the stator coils to be automatically interconnected in an automated manner, the interconnection arrangement is arranged inside an area bounded by the stator coils. Furthermore, the connections for the ends of the stator coils include connection projections designed such that they project outward at an angle to the respective connecting conductor to attach the stator coil ends. A number of cutouts are provided in the connection conductors and are arranged so that the connection projections are bendable into the cutouts once the coil ends have been connected.

Stator for an electrical machine and method for production of a stator

A power electronics device for controlling an electric machine including a power section arranged within a housing which can be closed via a cover element. The power section has a plurality of capacitors and a plurality of power semiconductors which are connected to a power bus bar. In addition, a control device is provided for controlling the power electronics device. The capacitors, power semiconductors, and control device are cooled via a cooling device which is formed as a profile having an essentially U-shaped cross section. The cooling device has two lateral limbs and a base region through which cooling ducts are arranged. A suitable cooling medium flows through the cooling ducts and the ends of the cooling ducts opposite the housing cover are closed by a covering element. The capacitors, the power semiconductors and the control device are connected to the cooling device such that thermal exchange occurs between these components and the cooling device.

Power electronics device for controlling an electric machine

A drive system for a permanently excited electric motor having at least one phase winding including a half-bridge arrangement for each phase winding of the motor, an intermediate circuit connecting each half-bridge arrangement to a motor supply voltage source, and a drive arrangement for driving each half-bridge arrangement. In accordance with the driving via the drive arrangement, a voltage or a potential with a predetermined polarity is applied or can be applied for a predetermined duration by each half-bridge arrangement to that phase winding of the electric motor which is assigned to this half-bridge arrangement. An operating state registering arrangement registers an operating state of the drive system and/or of the electric motor, where the drive arrangement is designed such that, when the presence of at least one predetermined operating state in the drive system and/or in the electric motor is registered by the operating state registering arrangement, a command is generated to produce a short circuit between each terminal of the motor.

Drive system for a permanently excited electric motor having at least one phase winding

A drive arrangement for a motor vehicle includes an internal combustion engine with a crankshaft which is selectively connectable to an output drive shaft via an interposed clutch system. The clutch system has at least two flywheel masses which are rotatable relative to each other. A first flywheel mass comprises at least one primary flange which is permanently connected to the crankshaft. The clutch system also includes an electric machine which has a rotor with a rotor carrier, the electric machine being arranged in the clutch system so that the primary flange is part of the rotor carrier.
