An axially supporting rolling-element bearing of a rolling mill shaft includes an inner ring having a raceway, an outer ring having a raceway and a plurality of rolling elements on the raceways between the rings. An outer surface of the outer ring includes an opening such as a groove that faces radially outward and contains a seal element. The seal element includes a seal lip that extends out of the groove. When the rolling element bearing is placed in a bore of a housing, the outer ring is spaced from the bore by the seal element.

Rolling-element bearing

A roller bearing assembly includes at least one roller bearing having an outer ring, an inner ring, and roller bodies disposed therebetween, as well as a radial shaft seal ring having a support ring and a seal lip. At least one end side of the outer ring includes a receptacle for retaining the support ring. The support ring extends axially in an outwardly projecting manner beyond the end side of the outer ring and up to an outer circumferential surface of the inner ring. The seal lip connected with the support ring sealingly abuts on the outer circumferential surface of the inner ring at a position that is axially internal of the end side of the outer ring.

Roller bearing assembly having a radial shaft seal ring

A roller bearing (e.g., a cross taper roller bearing) includes an outer ring, an inner ring and rolling elements (e.g., taper rollers) located between the inner and outer rings. The rolling elements are kept at a distance by a cage formed from a number of individual cage segments. Each cage segment has two opposing guide sections for one of the rolling elements to at least partially encompass the rolling element on both sides. In addition, for the rolling elements bordering the one rolling element, the cage segment has guide sections which, in interaction with a corresponding guide section of an adjacent cage segment, at least partially encompass the bordering rolling elements.

Roller bearing

A four-row tapered roller bearing for working rolls of roll stands includes a plurality of axially arranged inner ring parts forming an inner ring, a plurality of axially arranged outer ring parts forming an outer ring, and four annular rows of tapered rolls positioned between the inner and outer ring parts. Each inner ring part has an inner extension with the inner extensions possessing end faces that are directly positioned against one another along a partition groove. The end face of at least one of the inner extensions is provided with a plurality of spaced apart and radially extending grooves in which is received lubricant to lubricate said end faces of the inner extensions. An annular sealing ring encircles the outer surfaces of the inner extensions of the inner ring parts and have a pair of inwardly directed ribs which engage the outer surface of the inner extensions to form between the ribs and the outer surfaces of the inner extensions a closed chamber which bridges the partition groove.
