The invention relates to a hammering device for influencing the subsurfaces of workpieces comprising a beating tool for acting on the workpiece, a beating mechanism which has a first beater for producing a beating pulse on the beating tool, and a drive for driving the beating mechanism, wherein the beating mechanism has at least a second beater for producing a beating pulse on the beating tool. According to the invention, it is intended for the beating mechanism to comprise a drive shaft that extends along a drive axis and a wobble ring for transforming a rotational movement of the drive shaft into a translational movement, and the first beater and the second beater to be driven by the wobble ring.

Hammering device for influencing workpieces

Disclosed is a rolling tool which serves for working&#x2014;in particular rolling smooth&#x2014;an inner lateral surface of a cylindrical clearance. For this purpose, the rolling tool has at least one rolling body, which is held in the rotatably drivable rolling tool, and can be taken along by said tool on a peripheral path along the inner lateral surface. The at least one rolling body is inserted into a radial clearance in the rolling tool and can be subjected to a pressurized fluid from the inside to the outside along the radial clearance. The fluid is an aerosol. The aerosol is a fluid mixed with gas and serves for hydrostatic bearing and lubrication.

Rolling tool

A fluidostatic tool with at least one rolling element uses a pressurized lubricant mist or aerosol to apply force against a metal workpiece surface that is flat, curved or cylindrical. The rolling element, such as a ball, is held within a tubular borehole of the tool and cushioned on the pressurized lubricant mist during machining of the metal surface. Viscosity of the lubricant mist increases and reduces friction between the ball and the metal surface as it exits the tool, thereby reducing or eliminating the need for other lubricants during the machining process. The pressure of the lubricant mist against the ball seals the borehole of the tool and prevents leakage of the pressurized lubricant mist when the tool is not engaged with a metal workpiece surface. The lubricant mist can be an oil-free lubricant or a mixture of oil-free lubricant and oil components.

More specifically during manufacture of hydraulic cylinders for the crane industry, tubular bodies must be rolled on their inner and/or outer surfaces, in order to be able to ensure a sufficient durability of the hydraulic cylinders. Tools with a rolling body guide are used for this. The disadvantage of the prior art is that the replacement of a rolling body guide leads to immobilization times. The present invention therefore proposes an improvement to the prior art with a rolling body guide for receiving and feeding rolling bodies which are used for finish rolling or roller compression of an inner or outer surface of a tubular body and where the rolling body guide has at least two defined detachable receiving sections, so that a modular assembly of the rolling body guide is realizable.

For rolling a workpiece with a rolling tool with several rolling elements arranged in hydrostatic bearings, during rolling, only some of the rolling elements engage the workpiece, while the rolling elements not engaging the workpiece essentially seal off the hydrostatic bearing. In such a rolling tool, the rolling elements are arranged so as to be distributed over an area, and each of the hydrostatic bearings includes a circumferential seal in the region of the rolling elements.

In order to eliminate errors in roundness and the occurrence of helical waves, a skiving head is provided with at least three skiving blades arranged in a radially displaceable manner in the skiving head. A rolling milling tool is constructed so that the roller, in the form of a sphere, or cylinder or cone, is supported in a hydrostatic bearing to avoid counter rollers, thereby reducing the size of such tools. The roller is held in a bearing socket or guide chamber which may provide for an axial play of the roller in the chamber. The bearing socket or guide chamber is formed in a roller head which may be itself constructed for being chucked in a tool holder, or the roller head may be received in a housing which is held in a tool holder of a machine tool, such as a lathe. Ducts connect the hydrostatic bearing to a source of fluid pressure. The tool is suitable for a smooth rolling and/or work hardening roller operation.

A roller milling tool unit is compact enough for insertion into a tool magazine of a machine tool and constructed to operate by a fluid circulating circuit of the machine tool. The unit has a tool section including a milling roller element and a fluid pressurizing section for generating the required hydraulic roller milling pressure. Both sections form a structural unit. The pressurizing section includes a pump connected to the fluid circulating circuit such as the cooling or lubricating circuit of the machine tool when the unit is in a working position on the tool carrier of the machine tool. The pump may be driven either by a hydraulic motor forming part of the tool unit or by a drive available in the machine tool. The hydraulic motor may be driven by the cooling or lubricating circulating circuit of the machine tool.

A nozzle retention system for a drill bit which includes a nozzle member which is retained by means of a keyway in the bit body. The bit body can include a partially cylindrical bore, truncated by opposing walls to form a lower contact surface within the bit body. The nozzle will be conformed to pass through the bore in a first orientation, and to be retained in the bore and against such contact surface when the nozzle is rotated to the second orientation.

A core drilling tool with direct drive consisting of an outer pipe that can be connected to a drilling shaft, a core drilling appliance reciprocally mountable in the outer pipe which in turn includes a core barrel that carries a drill bit and an inner pipe mounted in rotatable relation therewith and for reciprocal movement therewith, and a drilling mud driven motor that is integrally coupled to the core drilling appliance and is secured against rotation in the outer pipe and having reaction faces that are put under pressure to produce a downward axial feed force acting on both the core drilling appliance and the motor, plus a capture device for pulling up the motor together with the core drilling appliance. In order to produce a sufficiently great axial feed force of an adjustable size that is essentially independent of the exposure of the core drilling appliance, the motor is connected to the core drilling appliance to form a common movable unit and devices are provided for adjusting the axial feed force.

A stabilizer for deep well drilling tools is disclosed which includes a tubular outer casing having a plurality of slit openings distributed around its periphery with a tubular adjusting mandrel supported in the casing for relative axial movement therewith in response to well fluid pressure applied to the well. A separate elongated ribbed body is movably mounted in each slit opening. Each of the ribbed bodies has a rear wedge face facing opposite to the relative motion of the mandrel which cooperates with a separate mating wedge face on the mandrel such that the ribbed body moves radially outwardly in its respective slit opening upon contact between said mating wedges upon axial movement of the mandrel relative to the casing in response to well fluid pressure applied to the well. Also, each end of each ribbed body has an axially projecting guide projection which terminates in a reduced dimension at its end. Each guide projection has a separate securing piece adapted to be inserted through a slit from outside the casing to hold its guide projection in the casing. Each securing piece has the basic shape of a cylindrical segment and can be inserted into the casing so it is flush therewith. A separate locking pin secures each securing piece in the casing.
