A particle separator comprises a pipeline that allows a fluid to flow in a curved direction of flow. The particle separator includes an inlet region, a curved deflection region, which in the direction of flow follows on from the inlet region, with an inside wall and an outside wall, and a delimitation body. The delimitation body at least in some sections extends between the inside wall and the outside wall in the interior of the deflection region and is curved in the same direction as the deflection region.

A conduit piece for the absorption of foreign bodies in an air distribution conduit of an air-conditioning installation, with a bent portion, the inner wall (I) of which has a large bend radius (Rg) and a small bend radius (Rk). To avoid flow noises according to the invention, an interception device () be provided in the region of the large bend radius (Rg) for the purpose of intercepting foreign bodies carried through the conduit piece together with the air.

An aircraft air conditioning system includes a cyclone unit positioned proximate to at least one discharger, the unit having an inlet opening, which communicates with a fresh air supply line, an intake opening, through which air is sucked in from the aircraft cabin, and at least one outlet opening, which communicates with the at least one discharger. A first, cyclone flow of only fresh air is produced in the cyclone unit during operation of the aircraft air conditioning system, the first cyclone flow tending to draw cabin air into the cyclone unit via the intake opening for mixture with the fresh air, after which a second cyclone flow of the cabin air and fresh air are expelled through the outlet opening and the at least one discharger.

A device () for connecting two duct elements () and a baffle () in an aircraft air conditioning system may include first () and second () connecting flanges each connected to one of the two duct elements (), and at least one connecting element () formed on the first connecting flange () which interacts with at least one corresponding connecting element () formed on the second connecting flange () to establish the connection of the two duct elements () and the baffle (). The first () and/or second connecting flange () has/have an opening () for receiving the baffle (), which is substantially disc-shaped and formed with at least one air passage (). The baffle () serves to control the flow of at least one air stream flowing through the connected duct elements ().
