A system for transporting small components, generally electrical components, arranged in a row comprising an arbitrary number of chain links. The components are accommodated within a cavity present in the chain links. The cavity is defined by at least two walls, at least one of which must be rigid, while the wall located opposite thereof is a resilient wall.

Transport system for small components

A coil body consists of a coil tube having flanges integrally formed onto the ends and having an axially through-extending opening. This core opening is formed by a successive arrangement of radial recesses which alternately extend through the coil tube wall from opposite sides. These radial recesses are formed by of reciprocally opposed projections of two cooperating mold halves of an injection molding tool. Such an arrangement permits manufacture of winding coil bodies with a simple two-part mold, eliminating a need for moveable components for forming the axial spindle core opening during the molding operation. The resulting coil body includes the continuous axial spindle opening defined by wall segments around its entire periphery and for easy attachment to a winding spindle for winding.

Coil body for miniature relays and the like

An improved relay of conventional design is disclosed wherein the relay has an armature and at least one moveable contact element. A slide is attached to the armature and moveable contact element. The slide is of a length matched to the actual distance between the armature and the moveable contact element after the armature and moveable contact element are secured to a base and moved to a contact position.

Relay having a movable slide and method for the manufacture thereof

A linear drive mechanism has a combination of a drive cylinder, a drive rod stroke-limiting element, position sensors, a solenoid, and a terminal strip, together with internal wirings and hose connections. The drive mechanism can be arbitrarily arranged quickly and simply at a processing apparatus or assembly structure as a unit, and only a cable having the external signal and control lines as well as a supply line for the pressure agent need be connected thereto. No disturbing and involved wirings and position sensing elements therefore need be arranged in the actual tool region.

Electropneumatic or electrohydraulic linear drive mechanism

The rotating armature relay exhibits one or two ferromagnetic bars which are provided with an insulating covering in their central area. Contact springs are secured in the insulation covering, the contacting, free ends of said contact springs respectively interacting with cooperating contact elements anchored in a base body. As a result, a slide-free and, thus, low-friction actuation derives as, however, does relatively high friction at the contact locations, whereby contact impacts are suppressed and foreign layers are abraded from the contact surfaces.

Electromagnetic rotating armature relay

An electromagnetic miniature relay of a narrow structure characterized by a flat core being embedded in a body and extending outside of the ends of the coil to form pole pieces, a stationary contact element being embedded in the body adjacent each of the pole pieces, a flat armature extending parallel to the flat coil and having ends forming air gaps with the pole pieces, said armature carrying flat spring-like contact portions secured to the center of the armature and engaging the stationary contacts when the coil is energized to attract the armature into contact with the pole pieces.

Electromagnetic miniature relay and method of manufacture

A relay comprises an elongate armature which is seated at one end in a carrier of insulating material. Movable contact springs are anchored in the carrier and comprise extensions which emerge from the carrier and are secured in a base with respective fastening portions. Such extension of the respective contact springs forms a terminal lug integrated as a one-piece structure with the contact, as well as a friction-free bearing for the armature without provision of an additional bearing element.

Electromagnetic relay

A multiple casting head for the simultaneous casting of containers, such as electrical component housings with casting compound such as viscous resin, has a plurality of serially disposed discharge nozzles for respectively supplying casting compound to individual containers, and each discharge nozzle can be individually selectively opened and closed by a separately controlled valve for supplying selected differing amounts of casting compound to each container as needed.

Multiple casting head

A device for pneumatically scanning the level of liquid in a container, such as small housings for electronic components which are to be filled with casting resin, has a pneumatic scanning nozzle disposed above the component housing for directing an extremely low pressure air stream at the liquid surface in the housing. The nozzle has a branch conduit leading to a piston movable to actuate a proximity switch for providing a signal to cease the supply of liquid to the container. When a pre-determined liquid level is attained in the container, the back pressure through the conduit moves the piston against a spring bias to actuate the proximity switch. The liquid level is thus determined in a contact-free manner so that the measuring system remains untouched by the casting resin.

Device for pneumatically scanning the level of liquid in a container

A device for conveying and dispensing liquid media such as casting resin has at least one piston pump having a cylinder chamber which forms a seal for a piston therein which is connected via an input opening to a feed container for receiving a supply of liquid therefrom. The cylinder chamber has an output opening and the piston is tubular in form having wall perforations in the region of the input opening for admitting the liquid to the interior of the piston and has a valve at a discharging end thereof for exit of the liquid from the piston. A seal is thus formed by which the piston operates entirely surrounded by the liquid medium to be dispensed and external seals between the piston and the atmosphere are eliminated.
