Disclosed herein are improved urethane prepolymers comprising the reaction product of a polyol with a monomeric isocyanate. The amount of residual unreacted monomeric isocyanate in said prepolymer is less than about 0.7% by weight of said prepolymer.

Removal of unreacted tolylene diisocyanate from urethane prepolymers

A process is described which is effective in removing unreacted tolylene diisocyanate (TDI) from a polyisocyanate by bringing said polyisocyanate into contact with molecular sieves.

Fire retardancy and wrinkle resistance are imparted to cellulosic textiles by impregnation of said textiles with the phosphoalkylated reaction product of a polyisocyanate and an alkyleneamine.
