A mounting bracket () is provided for securing to both square-hole racks () and round hole racks (). An inner support pin () extends for fitting within round-shaped holes () and engaging a side of the round-hole racks (). An outer support sleeve () is slidably moveable over the inner support pin () for fitting within square-shaped holes () and engaging a side of the square-hole racks (). A bias spring () urges the outer support sleeve () to extend over the inner support pin (). A lock pin assembly () has an enlarged diameter portion () for fitting within the square holes () and a smaller diameter portion () for fitting within the round holes () to lock the support sleeve () and the support in () in mounting holes (and) of respective ones of the square-hole racks () and the round-hole racks ().

A bearing retainer lock () for a drawer slide () has a detent pin () which engages within an opening () formed into a forward end () of a bearing retainer (). The detent pin () is mounted to the slide member () to which the bearing retainer () is secured. A slot () is formed into the detent pin () such that sides of the detent pin () have a predetermined flexibility. The opening () in the bearing retainer () has two side portions () which are of selected widths to determine a flexibility of the opening (). The size and depth of the slot () in the detent pin () are selected in combination with the width of the side portions () of the opening () such that the detent pin () will engage within and release from the opening () at a predetermined force.

A staging lock () is movably mounted to an intermediate member (), and has a follower tab () and a lock tab (). When the intermediate member () is fully extended from within the cabinet member (), the follower tab () engages a cam form () on the cabinet member () and moves the staging lock () from a closed position to an open position. When the staging lock () is disposed in the closed position, the lock tab () engages a staging lock catch () on the chassis member () to secure the chassis member () in a fully retracted position within the intermediate member (). When the staging lock () is moved to the open position, the chassis member () may extend from within the intermediate member (). A rear lock () retains the intermediate member () in a fully extended position until the chassis member () is fully retracted within the intermediate member ().

Elongated staging lock for a drawer slide

A drawer slide () is provided with a front release lock () and disconnect lock () moveably mounted a first slide member () for engaging opposite sides of a stopper () mounted to a second slide member (). A release linkage () is slidably secured to the first slide member () for moving the release lock () from a lock position to a release position, spaced apart from the stopper (), to allow the first slide member () to retract into the second slide member (). A disconnect linkage () is slidably secured to the first slide member () for moving the disconnect lock () from a retaining position to a disconnect position, spaced apart from the catch (), to allow the first slide member () to be removed from the second slide member (). The front release lock () and the disconnect lock () are slidably secured within a bracket () with bias springs () urging the release lock () into the lock position and the disconnect lock () into the retaining position.

A bearing drawer slide () has an inner slide member () which is slidably extensible from within an outer slide member (). Captives bearings () have elongate bodies () for locating in fixed relation to a rearward end () of the inner slide member (), disposed within the bearing spaces () between the inner slide member () and the outer slide member (), with sides () of the elongate bodies fitting against bearing races () of the outer and inner slide members (). The captive bearings () are moveable with the inner slide member () relative to the outer slide member (), and prevent movement of the rearward end () of the inner slide member () relative to the outer slide member () in directions which are transverse to the directions in which inner slide member () extends relative to the outer slide member (), particularly when the inner slide member () is fully retracted within the outer slide member ().

A slide rail assembly () has first and second slide rails (), with the second slide rail () being telescopically extendible from the first slide rail (). A latch member () is moveably mounted to the second slide rail () for engaging a catch portion () of the first slide rail () to latch the second slide rail () in a forward, extended position, cantilevered from the first slide rail (). A release member () is slidably mounted to the second slide rail (), and extends from a forward portion of the second slide rail () to an intermediate portion of the second slide rail () which is disposed substantially adjacent to the latch member (). Movement of the release member () lineally moves the latch member () from engaging the catch portion () of the first slide rail () and releases the second slide rail () to move from the extended position.
