A device for pressing out and dispensing dosed quantities of flowable multi-component compounds by application of a pressure on flexible bags for the different components comprising a housing with at least two receiving spaces for the flexible bags, the end of which can be closed by a removable cover element, two plunger-like inserts guided for sliding movement in the receiving spaces, for exerting the pressure on the flexible bags, a mixing device equipped with an ejection nozzle and a drive unit comprising an electric motor and a drive spindle, which drives both the plunger-like inserts and the mixing device, is characterized by the fact that the two receiving spaces open into a mixing space accommodating the mixing device and formed in the cover element.

An apparatus for extrusion and metered delivery of free-flowing substances, having a housing (11); having a receiving space (12), openable at least on one side, for a disposable material package; having an expulsion nozzle (13); having a compressed-air connection; and having, on the side opposite the expulsion nozzle (13), a piston that is displaceable in the direction of the expulsion nozzle (13) in the receiving space (12) or in the disposable material package, and pushes the substance ahead of it and thereby ejects it from the expulsion nozzle (13), compressed air being fed from the compressed-air connection to the side of the piston facing away from the expulsion nozzle (13), is characterized in that a compressor (30) driven by an electric motor (20) is arranged in/on the housing (11) in order to generate the compressed air.

Apparatus for extrusion and metered delivery of free-flowing substances

In the case of a universal electric motor for any kind of drive, with a stator package, a rotatably mounted rotor with commutator, as well as end shields on both sides that also constitute the bearings for the rotor and a switching ring that can be rotated through predetermined angular amounts and carries the (carbon) brushes, it is proposed to insert into the end shield A a closely fitting anchor block that serves for locking together the two end shields with the intervening stator package; further, the switching ring can be mounted on an external annular end face of the end shield B that also carries the switching strips or switching rails needed for switching between clockwise and counter clockwise rotation, complete with contact areas situated in the plane of the annular end face and suitable for axial contacting, the said contact areas making contact with other axial contact areas on the switching ring to establish connections with the carbon brushes.

Universal electric motor

For the purposes of assembling an electric tool, and especially an electric hand tool such as, for example, a hand drill, a grinder or a sabre saw, it is proposed to use modular components that are to be axially inserted into and connected with each other. The components comprise a self-contained electric driving motor that supports the rotor shaft in a centered position by means of end shields on both sides that are rigidly fixed to the stator, a self-contained gearing head that is fixed to the motor, and at least a partially tubular, single piece main housing that accommodates the driving motor and the gearing head, an electric circuitry module inserted into the main housing, and a rear cover for the housing.

Electric tool

It is proposed to obtain a switching device for the electrical switching (i.e. switching on and off or reversing the direction of rotation) of electric tools, especially electric hand tools such as drills, grinders and the like, by mounting a rotatable setting ring on the outer cylindrical housing of the electric tool and positioning it opposite the end shield at the B-end of the electric motor inside the housing in such a manner that inwardly pointing projections of the setting ring will grip a plate or switching ring on the electric motor and will cause the said plate or switching ring to perform a slave motion for switching the electric motor on and off or reversing its direction of rotation whenever the external setting ring is subjected to a manual rotation. It is also possible and advantageous to provide an automatic return to bring the setting ring back into its initial position; the mechanism, realized with biasing springs, comprises a releasable locking device that will maintain the setting ring in its deflected position.

Switching device for the electric switching of electric tools

A method and apparatus for controlling an electric motor, in particular a motor for driving hand tools, saws, and the like, the rotational speed of which is automatically reduced in no-load idling operation and increased when working under load to pre-determined speed values corresponding to desired working speeds. A current sensor picks up the current absorbed by the electric motor and causes the speed of the electric motor to be abruptly changed when a load condition has been detected. A timing relay maintains the electric motor at the higher working speed for a pre-determined period of time after termination of the operation under load. The threshold value of the sensitivity of the current sensor is raised simultaneously with the change-over to the higher working speed.
