Basically, bent sheet metal piece segments of a circumferential length that corresponds to an angle &agr;&equals;360&deg;/n are created through a stamping process, with n corresponding to a positive integer and being larger or equal to two, with n of these sheet metal piece segments being arranged in one plane to a sheet metal piece. The sheet metal pieces that have been arranged next to each other are connected with at least one fastener and/or welded together.

Method for producing parcels consisting of sheet metal pieces

A system for punching metal sheets and for stacking metal sheets in the appropriate punched pattern, particularly for electric machines, has a die for punching the metal sheets, a die plate cooperating with the die, and a guiding device for guiding the punched metal sheets below the die plate. The guiding device has at least two clamping elements. The clamping elements are provided for clamping the punched metal sheets on their circumference and thus forming a stack branch-off which permits an uninterrupted punching during the discharge of the metal sheet stack.

System for punching metal sheets and for stacking metal sheets in the appropriate punched pattern

A groove stamping machine stamps the required grooves successively into a disk-shaped blank particularly for manufacturing stator and rotor plates for electric machines. The groove stamping machine has a stationary bench which, on the end side, carries a spacing apparatus for receiving the blank. A stamping device disposed on the bench is adjustable with respect to the spacing apparatus. The distance between the spacing apparatus and the stamping device can be adjusted by a ball thread spindle which acts between the spacing apparatus and the stamping device. The fixing of an adjusted distance takes place by the blocking of the ball thread spindle, preferably by way of a disk brake. The stamping device is disposed via a combined roller slide bearing on the bench which permits a low-friction displacement of the stamping device which also supporting the latter in a stiff manner. The combination of the low-friction bearing device and the ball thread spindle, which is preferably arranged close to the blank, permits a precise adjustment and constant maintenance of the desired machining radius. The precision and the compensation of temperature fluctuations also results from the ball thread spindle being preferably arranged in an exposed manner, that is, in a thermal contact with the environment.

Groove stamping machine adaptable to various stator and rotor plate sizes

A tensioning assembly having a cylindrical exterior circumferential surface of a drivable shaft section and an interior cone ring having a cylindrical interior circumferential surface arranged on the cylindrical exterior circumferential surface, the interior cone ring having a conical exterior circumferential surface. An exterior cone ring is arranged on the conical exterior circumferential surface of the interior cone ring, the exterior cone ring having tensioning screws which are coaxial with respect to the drivable shaft section and by which the interior and exterior cone rings are tensioned with one another and the interior cone ring is tensioned with the drivable shaft section. To provide a tensioning assembly that is easily mounted and relaxed without loosening of the tensioning screws, a driven sleeve is arranged on the shaft section and is coupled to a driven element, the driven sleeve having an axial length that is larger than an axial length of the interior and exterior cone rings by the axial length of the driven element. Grooves are provided in at least one of the cylindrical circumferential surfaces, the grooves admitting a liquid pressure medium to the pairing of the cylindrical interior and exterior circumferential surfaces. The admission of pressure medium to the pairing of the cylindrical interior and exterior surfaces acts as a hydraulic release system for the tensioning between the shaft section and the driven sleeve.

Tensioning assembly

An arrangement on a press having an eccentric shaft for adjusting the strokes of a working slide and of a counter-oscillating weight by adjustable eccentric/eccentric bush pairings. The eccentric bushes of these pairings can be detached and fixed on the eccentrics in the rotating direction since the connection is in each case an interference fit with a cylindrical locating surface that can be released by the feeding of pressure oil. This permits a narrow construction of the press with a relatively short eccentric shaft. The eccentrics are arranged directly next to one another on an eccentric shaft, and the eccentric bushes are rotationally connected with one another via radial disks with radial slots and pins engaging in them. The adjusting of the strokes takes place by rotating the eccentric shaft when the interference fits are released and the eccentric bushes are locked.

An arrangement for the stepwise feed of band material which includes a first, locally fixed and driven feed roller and a second feed roller rotatably supported on a rocker; a lifting mechanism is provided, by which the second feed roller is movable at the point in time of the reversal of the direction of rotatin toward the first feed roller for an advance of the band material and away from the same into a return position in which the band material is to be held fixed. The feed arrangement is designed for an intermediate clearing of the second feed roller and of the guide member by abutment of the guide element on a height-adjustable eccentric and for different thick band materials. In the points of reversal of to and fro movements, the second feed roller as also the pressure device are briefly pressed against the band material.

An arrangement for a press with an eccentric shaft used for the adjustment of the stroke of the ram of the press by adjusting the relative eccentricity of an eccentric and of an eccentric bushing supported thereon, which in turn adjusts the connecting rod of the ram. The eccentric bushing is selectively releasable and fixable in the direction of rotation on the eccentric by actuating means, whereby the released eccentric bushing is fixed with respect to a non-rotating part of the press and with the eccentric shaft and is rotatable in this fixed condition for purposes of adjusting the ram stroke. The fixing of the eccentric bushing on the eccentric occurs steplessly and positively by supporting the eccentric bushing on an oversize eccentric in a press-fit connection having cylindrical fitting surfaces established between the bushing and eccentric and wherein the press-fit connection is releasasble by supplying pressure oil by way of at least one groove to at least one fitting surface.

Push rod stroke adjustment device for a press

For reducing the refitting time of high-speed presses as a consequence of the adaptation of the distances of stacking spindle and support members to the dimensions of the cutting tool to be interchanged and of the blank, the stacking spindle and the support members are arranged on interchanging rails adapted to be displaced out of the press table. Upon reaching the required height of the stack, the spindle tip adapted to be separated from the stacking spindle is held by a retaining device consisting of adjusting means and slide member so that the stack can be lowered to the discharge conveyor plane.

Installation for correctly stacking blanks

A drive arrangement for a high speed mechanical press, especially a high speed cutting press, wherein the press drive includes two eccentric shafts connected by connecting rods with a slide. Mass balancing weights are provided for enabling a complete dynamic mass balancing, with the weights being articulated by additional rods and being moved in a direction opposite to the slide. The drive further includes at least three pairs of toggle or knee joint link arrangements, with the first arrangement being nearly horizontally disposed, the second arrangement being nearly vertically disposed, and the third arrangement being nearly vertically disposed and connected on the one hand with the slide and, on the other hand, with the mass balancing weights, with the pairs being arranged symmetrically with respect to the eccentric shafts.

Press drive

A press drive with a central cam shaft actively connected through a connecting rod with a slide guided in a linear guide. Side bars are symmetrically articulated with respect to each other on the slide. Mass balancing weights are driven in opposed directions corresponding to reciprocating masses of the press, with the weights being connected with the slide by other linkages. Pairs of toggle joint linkages are disposed symetrically with respect to the cam shaft. The pairs of toggle joint linkages include a first almost horizontally disposed toggle joint linkage that is articulated on the respective side bars and presents a bearing point on the press frame. A second almost vertically disposed toggle joint linkage that is connected with the first toggle joint linkage and is articulated so as to be guided by the press frame on the mass balancing weight. A third almost vertically disposed toggle joint linkage is articulated on the punch through a transmission bar with the first and second toggle joint linkages and is braced in a direction of motion of the punch on the press frame.

Press drive arrangement

An arrangement for aligning and stacking laminations and for transporting formed stacks of laminations with the laminations being provided with a circular inner and/or outer circumference and having stamped patterns defining a plurality of stampings distributed about the circumference of the laminations at equal centering angles. A stack forming device is provided for receiving laminations fed individually thereto with the stack forming device including at least two stack forming elements mounted so as to be selectively separable. The stack forming elements are disposed one above the other in a longitudinal direction of the stack forming device so as to form upper and lower stack forming elements. The lower stack forming element selectively engages the upper stack forming element, with such element being maintained in a fixed position when the lower stack forming element is displaced to a lowered position. A drive arrangement is provided for rotating only the lower stack forming element through stepwise predetermined increments when the lower stack forming element is in the lowered position with the predetermined increments constituting a whole number multiple of the central angle of the stampings and being equal to one of 90.degree., 120.degree. or 180.degree..

Aligning and stacking arrangement

A press arrangement which includes a press table, a punch and an adjusting arrangement for selectively adjusting the distance between the press table and punch. A pressure space is provided in the punch which selectively communicates with a pressure medium supply so as to load and relieve the pressure space. A piston is floatingly disposed in the pressure space and cooperates with an element of the adjusting arrangement so as to create a constantly-acting or permanently-acting tension on the adjusting arrangement when the pressure space is filled with a pressure medium.

Press arrangement

An arrangement for aligning and stacking laminations for electrical equipment and for transporting formed stacks of laminations with the laminations being fed individually in the same position to a stack former which maintains the relative positions of the laminations. The laminations include a circular inner or outer circumference and a plurality of stampings distributed about the surface of the laminations at equal centering angles. The stack former is provided with an appropriate circular circumference and a guide which can be introduced into at least one stamping. The stack former is rotatably mounted relative to its longitudinal axis and is provided with a rotary drive which operates in a stepwise manner with the rotary steps of the drive being equal to the central angle of the stampings of the stamping pattern or a whole number multiple thereof.
