Vehicular maintenance is predicted using real time telematics data and historical maintenance data. Different statistical models are used, and an intersecting set of results is generated. Environmental weather may also be used to further refine predictions.

Predictive maintenance

A method includes receiving diagnostic data at a computing system from network interface devices. The method includes analyzing the diagnostic data with the computer system to identify a performance alert condition. The method includes determining, by the computer system, potential causes of the performance alert condition. The method includes determining, by the computer system, probabilities associated with the potential causes being actual causes of the performance alert condition. The method also includes generating, by the computer system, an output including a potential causes list ordered according to the probabilities associated with the potential causes being the actual causes of the performance alert condition.

Identifying network performance alert conditions

A plurality of application services are provided to subscriber devices in a cloud computing network. A plurality of requests for application services are received from a subscriber device via a customized private network connection assigned to the subscriber device, and the requests for application services are aggregated with requests for application services from other subscriber devices. The requests are transmitted to application servers within the cloud computing network hosting applications for performing the application services. The subscriber device is provided with the requested plurality of application services via the customized private network connection.

Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for a vehicle battery data analysis service. A processor can execute a vehicle battery data analysis service. The processor can generate a request to execute a load test at a vehicle and transmit the load request to a vehicle diagnostic system located at the vehicle. The processor can obtain diagnostic data generated by the vehicle diagnostic system. The diagnostic data can include test data that indicates a load of a battery of the vehicle and vehicle data that identifies the vehicle. The processor can update fleet data based upon the diagnostic data.

Vehicle battery data analysis service

A map of a facility is provided. Dispatch instructions for dispatching a mobile device from a starting location to the facility at a destination within a geographical area are received, and a current location of the mobile device is detected as the mobile device moves from the starting location towards the destination. The map of the facility is received based on the dispatch instructions and the current location of the mobile device, and the map of the facility is provided.

Method, system, and computer program product for providing a facility map

To block calls and other mobile device network activities in a vehicle while the vehicle is being operated, a vehicle cellphone inhibitor system is provided. A femtocell device can be provided to reroute communications between a cellular network and the mobile device through the femtocell device. The vehicle cellphone inhibitor system can selectively block calls or other network operations on the mobile device that are routed through the femtocell device on the mobile device while leaving the mobile device otherwise operational. The blocking can be activated whenever the vehicle is moving, which can be determined via GPS, accelerometers, or a connection via the vehicle's electronic control unit ('ECU') utilizing vehicle data to determine whether the vehicle is in motion or being operated.

Mobile device inhibitor

A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, receiving, by a first line card coupled to minimally twisted or non-twisted pair cables, a very high digital subscriber line signal, modifying the very high digital subscriber line signal for transmission over the minimally twisted or non-twisted pair cables to generate an updated very high digital subscriber line signal that overcomes a transmission deficiency, and transmitting from the first line card the updated very high digital subscriber line signal to a second line card to cause the second line card to receive the adapted very high digital subscriber line signal at a desired signal quality and convert the updated very high digital subscriber line signal to a very high digital subscriber line signal for presentation of interactive television services at the customer premise equipment. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Method and apparatus for high speed data services

Example methods, apparatus and articles of manufacture to test home networks are disclosed. A disclosed example method includes instructing, from a test controller, a test server to become communicatively coupled to a residential gateway of a home network. The test server is separate from the residential gateway. The test controller is separate from the residential gateway. The test controller instructs the test server to perform a first test of the home network. A second test of a femtocell is performed with a cellular transceiver of the test controller. The second test is different from the first test. The femtocell is communicatively coupled to the residential gateway. The femtocell is separate from the residential gateway. A first result of the first test and a second result of the second test are presented via a display of the test controller.

Methods, apparatus and articles of manufacture to test home networks

A method includes receiving power via a communication line at a power coupling device of a removable module coupled to a connector of a network interface device. The communication line is coupled to a service provider system that provides multiple services to a customer residence associated with the network interface device. The communication line provides first data associated with a first service of the multiple services to the network interface device. The method includes receiving, at a first service module of the removable module, second data associated with a second service of the multiple services, generating second processed data from the second data, and sending the second processed data to a device coupled to the network interface device. The method also includes generating operation power from the power at the power coupling device and providing the operation power to the removable module and the network interface device.

Residential gateway

A computer-implemented method includes receiving diagnostic data from a plurality of network interface devices via a plurality of network connections corresponding to the network interface devices. Each of the plurality of network interface devices includes a diagnostic module to gather diagnostic data pertaining to the network interface device, to gather diagnostic data pertaining to the corresponding network connection, and to gather diagnostic data pertaining to a video device at a user location. The video device is coupled to the network interface device to receive video data via the corresponding network connection. The method also includes analyzing the diagnostic data at the computing device to identify one or more performance alert conditions associated with a service provider network. The method further includes generating an output identifying one or more potential causes of the one or more identified performance alert conditions.

Network interface devices and methods are provided. A particular network interface device includes a first network interface adapted to terminate one or more communication lines and a second network interface to terminate at least one coaxial line. The network interface device also includes at least one interface connector adapted to receive a removable plug-in module. The removable plug-in module includes a video unit that is operable to receive video data from a network device via at least one of the one or more communication lines and to process the video data for communication via the at least one coaxial line or a twisted wire pair when the plug-in module is connected to the at least one interface connector. The removable plug-in module also includes a power coupling device to receive power via at least one of the one or more communication lines.
