Location based wagering method sand systems. An online wagering service can be invoked via a mobile device. A determination can then be made regarding the location of the mobile device and a jurisdiction (e.g., state, county, city, etc.) associated with that location. The mobile device and hence a user can be authorized to access the online wagering service based on the location of the mobile device. Based on the location, it can also be determined if use of the online wagering service is allowed in the jurisdiction along with prescribed limitations of use in that jurisdiction. Wagering options are then presented via the mobile device, which conform to the laws and/or regulations of the jurisdiction.

A selection of the micro outcomes utilizes a number of points or credits, wherein each selection of a micro outcome increases a selecting player's points or credit balance if the micro outcome occurs or decreases the points or credit balance if the micro outcome selected does not occur.

A method and system for micro-betting. One or more micro-bets can be electronically placed with respect to one or more micro-events associated with an event during a round of micro-betting. One or more wages with respect to the micro-bet(s) can be managed and controlled during the round of micro-betting. The wager(s) can be managed and controlled remote from electronically placing the micro-bet(s) during the round of micro-betting. Additionally, a portion of a profit can be automatically obtained with respect to the round of micro-bets in exchange for the aforementioned managing and controlling of the wager(s) with respect to the micro-bet(s) during the round of micro-betting.

Systems and methods for enabling remote device users to wager on micro events of games in a data network accessible gaming environment

The control function can be configured to determine when said series of micro-bets are set and when no more micro-bets among said series of micro-bets can be placed with respect to said event(s). Additionally, a multiple display screen method and system for the placement of micro-bets includes one or more display screens for displaying a micro-betting GUI for placing and managing micro-bets with respect to one or more macro-events and/or micro-events thereof. At least one other display screen can be utilized to provide video of the macro-event and/or micro-event(s). Available micro-bets among said micro-bets can be randomized to prevent cheating.

A method and system for micro-betting. Video of one or more portions of one or more macro-events can be displayed via a display screen associated with a remote computing device. One or more potential micro-outcomes can be identified within the event or events. Multiple and parimutuel betting options can be generated with respect to varying micro-outcomes within or part of the macro-event(s). Then, one or more micro-bets among the multiple and parimutuel betting options with respect to the micro-outcome(s) can be placed via the remote computing device in communication with a data network. The micro-bet(s) can be transmitted from the remote computing device for placement via one or more servers in communication with the data network. Additionally, data indicative of the multiple and parimutuel betting options can be displayed via the display screen of the remote computing device in association with the video of the event or events displayed via the display screen.
