A lighting device having a light source, an optical element associated with the light source and designed as a reflection lens which, in a central region accommodating an optical axis of the optical element, has a lens section which has a first coupling-in surface on a coupling-in side and a first coupling-out surface on a coupling-out side. The light source is tilted and/or is arranged rotated about the optical axis in the plane running perpendicular to the optical axis, with the formation of an obliquely running edge of the light source, and the first coupling-in surface, the second coupling-in surface, the reflection surface, the first coupling-out surface, and/or the second coupling-out surface of the optical element are shaped in such a way that the predetermined light distribution is produced with imaging of the edge of the light source as a cut-off line.

Lighting device for vehicles

A lighting device for streets, having a housing for receiving at least one lighting module can be mounted easily if it comprises a plurality of lighting units having a light element and an optical element associated with the same and being fastened on a carrier. The module housing is covered by a sealing pane facing the lighting units and comprises fastening means for removably fastening same on the housing. Electrical contact means are provided on the module housing for electrically connecting the lighting units to an external voltage source, wherein the fastening and contact means are designed such that the lighting module can be brought from an assembled position, in which the lighting module is mechanically and electrically connected to the housing, to a disassembled position in which the lighting module is not mechanically or electrically connected to the housing, and vice versa, exclusively by means of a linear displacement.

Street lighting device and installation method

An illumination device comprising a housing positionable at a distance from an area to be illuminated and having at least one lighting module, on a support in the housing, that has lighting units having the same light distribution characteristics. Each of the lighting units contains lighting elements and associated lenses arranged in front of the same in the light-emitting direction. Different lighting modules may include lighting units having different light distribution characteristics, while the lighting units have optical axes running parallel to each other. At least one lighting unit is configured such that its light distribution characteristics have at least one asymmetrical section relative to a central plane of the lighting unit.
