A bow system and an idler wheel for the bow system () is provided. The bow system comprises a first limb () and a second limb (), a riser () interconnecting the first () and second () limbs, a first () and a second () idler wheel, and a bowstring () arranged between the first () and the second () idler wheel. The first idler wheel () is rotationally journalled in a first end portion of the riser () and the second idler wheel () is rotationally journalled in a second end portion of the riser () such that both idler wheels () are stationary when the bow system () is tensioned.

Turret for a combat unit

The invention concerns an arrangement for a discharge system for combustion gases from a motor-driven vehicle which gives the vehicle a low IR signature. According to the invention, the gas outflow channel ( ), at least in an area of the channel adjacent to the discharge aperture ( ), has a boundary wall ( ) which is perforated right up to the open discharge aperture ( ) and surrounded by a cooling air channel ( ). The arrangement is such that cooling air can sweep over the inner side as well as the outer side of the perforated wall ( ).
