The invention relates to a tube for a surgical microscope. The tube has a base part, an intermediate part, which is pivotable about a rotational axis on the base part, and an ocular part which is pivotable about a rotational axis on the intermediate part. The imaging beam path is guided through the base part, the intermediate part and the pivotable ocular part. The tube has a tube lens system which transfers a parallel imaging beam paths into an intermediate image. The parallel imaging beam path enters via an opening in a connecting piece of the base part. The tube has a first displaceable mirror element which can be moved about the rotational axis on the base part. The tube lens system is a telesystem which has a lens unit having positive refractive power and a lens unit having negative refractive power.

Tube for a surgical microscope

A microscopy system method for inspecting a retina of an eye including generating an inverted intermediate image of the retina using an opthalmoscopic lens; detecting a left image of the intermediate image from a left viewing direction and detecting a right image of the intermediate image from a right viewing direction; and displaying an inverted representation of the detected left image to a right eye of a user and displaying an inverted representation of the detected right image to a left eye of the user.

Microscopy system and method

Disclosed are an illumination device for an observation device comprising one, two or more observation beam paths with one respective beam of observation rays, especially for an ophthalmologic surgical microscope, and a corresponding observation device. Said illumination device is provided with at least one light source for generating at least one beam of observation rays in order to illuminate an object that is to be observed. According to one embodiment of the invention, at least two partial bundles of illumination rays are provided, each of which extends coaxial to a corresponding beam of observation rays, while the partial beams of illumination rays are embodied so as to form two or several illumination spots on the fundus of an object that is to be observed, e.g. an eye, said illumination spots having variable sizes, thus allowing the illumination beam to cooperate in a precisely defined manner with the observation beam paths, which makes it possible to meet especially the practical requirements regarding homogeneity of the red reflex.

Illumination device as well as observation device

An operating microscope has a main objective () that extends along an objective plane and is penetrated by a binocular main observer beam path and a binocular co-observer beam path. The binocular main observer beam path has two main observation pupils () in the objective plane with centers on a first straight line (). The binocular co-observer beam path has two co-observation pupils () in the objective plane with centers on a second straight line (). The first and second straight lines () intersect. The co-observer beam path can be displaced with respect to the main observer beam path so that the angle between the second and first straight line () changes. The center point () between the co-observation pupils () in the objective plane displaces when there is a change in the angle between the second and first imagined straight lines ().

Operating microscope and method for pivoting a co-observer microscope

A tube for an optical observation device, in particular for a microscope, with a viewing level that is linearly variable in length and/or height, wherein the tube has an optical light path, in which at least two optical elements are disposed, for example, deflecting elements. The tube can be designed, for example, as a swing-in tube, with a base part, wherein a deflecting element is disposed in the base part so that it can rotate around an axis of rotation, and with an eyepiece support that can swing in relative to the base part, wherein a deflecting element is disposed in the eyepiece support so that it can rotate around an axis of rotation. The optical elements may be disposed so that they can move independently of one another in the optical light path.

Tube for an observation device

A tube of a surgical microscope has a base part, intermediate part pivotable about a rotational axis on the base part, and an ocular part pivotable about a rotational axis on the intermediate part. The imaging beam path is guided through the base part, intermediate part and pivotable ocular part. The tube has a tube lens system which transfers a parallel imaging beam path into an intermediate image. The parallel imaging beam path enters via an opening in a connecting piece of the base part. The tube has a first displaceable mirror element movable about the rotational axis on the base part. The tube has a further displaceable mirror element movable on the intermediate part about the rotational axis. The first mirror element directs the imaging beam path to the further mirror element. The first mirror element and further mirror element are mounted in the imaging beam path between a lens unit having positive refractive power and a lens unit having negative refractive power.

The invention relates to a surgical microscope having a microscope main objective for the visualization of an object plane in an object region. The objective is passed through by a first stereoscopic component beam path and by a second stereoscopic component beam path. The ophthalmologic surgical microscope includes an adjustable illuminating arrangement which makes illuminating light available. The illuminating arrangement has an illuminating optic having a beam deflecting unit which is mounted on the side of the objective facing away from the object region in order to direct the illuminating light through the objective to the object region. In a first position of the illuminating arrangement, the illuminating light passes through the cross sectional area of the objective in an area section, which at least partially surrounds the optical axis of the first stereoscopic component beam path and/or the optical axis of the second stereoscopic component beam path.

Surgical microscope having an illuminating arrangement

An ophthalmic surgical microscope () has a microscope main objective () and a viewing beam path () which passes through the microscope main objective () for visualizing an object region. The ophthalmic surgical microscope () includes an OCT-system () for recording images of the object region (). The OCT-system () includes an OCT-scanning beam () which is guided via a scan mirror arrangement () to the object region (). An optic element () is provided between the scan mirror arrangement () and the microscope main objective (). This optic element () bundles the OCT-scanning radiation exiting from the scan mirror arrangement () and transfers the same into a beam path which passes through the microscope main objective (). Alternatively or in addition, the ophthalmic surgical microscope () includes an ophthalmoscopic magnifier lens () which can be pivoted into and out of the viewing beam path () and the OCT-scanning beam ().

Ophthalmic surgical microscope having an OCT-system

A surgical microscope () has a viewing beam path for main viewing and a secondary beam path () for viewing by another person. The surgical microscope () has a microscope main objective () through which the viewing beam path for main viewing and the viewing beam path () for secondary viewing pass. The surgical microscope () includes an OCT-system () for examining an object region. The OCT-system () includes an OCT-scanning beam () which is guided through the microscope main objective (). In the viewing beam path () for secondary viewing, an in-coupling element () is provided to couple the OCT-scanning beam () into the viewing beam path () for secondary viewing and to guide the same through the microscope main objective () to the object region ().

Surgical microscope having an OCT-system

A surgical microscope () has an illuminating arrangement () which can guide illuminating light to the object region () with a first illuminating beam path () and with a second illuminating beam path (). A light exit unit is provided in the first illuminating beam path (). An illuminating field diaphragm is mounted in the second illuminating beam path. The first illuminating beam path () has an illuminating optic which images the light exit plane of the light exit unit or a plane conjugated to the light exit plane into a first image plane (). An illuminating optic is provided in the second illuminating beam path () and this illuminating optic images the illuminating field diaphragm into a second image plane () different from the first image plane.

A surgical microscope () has an illuminating module (). The illuminating module contains an illuminating optic which images a field diaphragm () to a parallel illuminating beam path at infinity. The field diaphragm () is illuminated by a light source. The illuminating optic includes a first lens assembly and a second lens assembly which functions to image the field diaphragm () into the object region () via the microscope main objective () of the surgical microscope (). An in-coupling element () is provided between the first lens assembly () and the second lens assembly () and this in-coupling element couples the OCT-scanning beam into the illuminating beam.

A surgical microscope () has viewing beams () passing through a microscope imaging optic which includes a microscope main objective system () having a magnification system of variable magnification. The microscope imaging optic transposes a convergent viewing beam () from the object region () into a parallel beam. The surgical microscope includes an OCT-system () for examining the object region (). The OCT-system () makes available an OCT-scanning beam () which is guided through the microscope imaging optic.
