A cage is for farming fish. The cage floats in a water column and the upper portion of the cage has a surrounding floating body arranged to float in a water surface. An enclosure is located between the upper portion and the lower portion of the cage, the enclosure being closed in its lower portion and forming an inside and an outside. The cage has a liquid-tight wall which is attached to the floating body and which extends from the water surface downwards in the water column. The liquid-tight wall forms a lower edge portion. The cage is provided, in its upper portion, with at least one flow booster for creating a circular water current within the liquid-tight wall. A method for creating an upward water current of fresh water within the cage is also provided.

Fish cage with improved water exchange and farming condition

A floatable structure has a cage with a surrounding wall and a bottom, the cage being arranged for fish farming. A surrounding skirt extends in a downward direction from the bottom, wherein at least a portion of the bottom from the skirt towards a center of the cage is tight. The portion of the bottom and the skirt forming a bottom section are arranged to be filled with a gas giving the floatable structure additional buoyancy.

Raiseable floating structure and a method for raising the same in a water column

A floating fish farming plant including a cage supported by a buoyant body which is configured for floating in a body of water. The farming plant further includes a lifting portion arranged between the buoyant body and the cage and configured for moving the cage between a position at the level of, or below, the buoyant body and a position in which at least a portion of the cage is above the buoyant body. The cage includes at least a lower section, forming a bottom portion of the cage, said lower section having a wall comprising an elastic material and/or being elastically connected to the middle sections; whereby transfer of dynamic forces between the lower section and the adjoining section is reduced. An assembly comprises a plurality of fish farming plants.
