The invention relates to a method for producing a plurality of bent extruded profiles () from a light metal or light metal alloy, which is characterized by the following steps: simultaneously extruding at least two extruded profiles () that are mirror-symmetric with respect to their cross-sectional shape while using an extrusion device (), said extrusion device comprising an extrusion die () with an extrusion matrix forming the at least two extruded profiles (); at the same time bending the at least two extruded profiles (), while bending, when viewing the direction of extrusion and in a horizontal plane of viewing including the direction of extrusion, at least one of the extruded profiles () or the projection thereof into the plane of viewing with a curvature that has a sign opposite the sign of the curvature with which at least one additional extrusion profile () or the projection thereof into the plane of viewing is bent.

Method for producing a plurality of curved extruded profiles

A method for cutting a hollow extruded profile section into lengths in a press flow, wherein the extruded profile section is bent upon exit from the press either simultaneously with or directly after the forming extrusion process by a force acting thereon in a transversal manner in relation to the direction of the extruding press, and a force component acts as a traction of pressure force during the forming extrusion process on the cross-sectional area of the hollow-profile walls thus arising. The bent extruded profile section is cut in the press flow by the mechanical action of a saw, whereby force exerted on the extruded profile section during cutting is compensated by a supporting device arranged adjacent to the extruded profile section, so that deformation of the bent extruded profile section is prevented.

Method for cutting extruded profile sections into lengths

In a method for manufacturing structural components from an extruded section, especially consisting of Al, Mg or their alloys, which after its exit from the die of the extrusion press, is guided by one or a plurality of guide tools for the purpose of forming it as a straight or arc-shaped (rounded) section, an end section is separated by a separating tool and in the hot state, is fed by means of gripping tools to a hot-forming process and successively to one or a plurality of processing stations.
