Disclosed are various embodiments for improving user interface rendering performance. A network page is received from one or more servers, where the network page includes code that renders a graphical placeholder for a user interface component. The code that renders the graphical placeholder for the user interface component is executed. Code that renders an updated view of the user interface component is received from the server(s) in response to a scrolling action or a viewport manipulation bringing the graphical placeholder for the user interface component into view. The code that renders the updated view of the user interface component is executed.

User interface rendering performance

Systems and methods are disclosed which facilitate management and monitoring of page-level usage data. Specifically, a client computing device may retrieve content from a remote system for local display. A local interaction monitoring component may monitor local interaction with the content, and transmit local interaction information to the remote system. In one embodiment, interaction may be monitored with regard to predefined portions of the content. In another embodiment, interaction may be transmitted to the remote server for processing, in order to generate page-level usage data. In still more embodiments, page level-usage data may be processed or formatted in order to facilitate ease of retrieval and display. In yet more embodiments, the remote system may enable clients, such as administrators, to view aggregate page-level usage data why viewing a corresponding content.

Managing page-level usage data

Described are techniques for automatically improving the accessibility of webpages and other content using machine learning and artificial intelligence systems. Webpage data may include visual data used to render visible elements and audio data used to render audible elements, such as digitized speech representative of at least a portion of the visible elements. In some cases, text data may be generated based on the audio data. The audio data may be modified based on target text strings, patterns, and characteristics determined in the text data, or the audio data may be analyzed directly. Additionally, user interactions with particular visible elements and corresponding audible elements may be compared. If the user interactions for a visible element exceed the user interactions for a corresponding audible element, the audio data associated with the audible element may be modified.

Artificial intelligence system for improving accessibility of digitized speech

A computer-facilitated service receives a request, from a user client, to access a site provided by the service. The service may obtain, from the request, identifying information, which may be used to identify prior activity of the user client. This prior activity is used to determine whether the user client is to be provided with an interstitial user interface component, which may be configured to cause the user client to provide additional information about the client and to be successfully completable by an automated agent or other automated process. If an interstitial user interface component is provided, the service may receive, from the user client, this additional information, which may be used to determine whether the user client is using an automated agent to access the site.

Automated agent detection utilizing non-CAPTCHA methods

Disclosed are various embodiments for improving user interface rendering performance. A network page is generated that is configured to defer loading of control code associated with a user interface component. The network page includes code that renders an initial view of the user interface component. The code that renders the initial view is configured to obtain one or more events generated by one or more user interactions with the initial view. The code that renders the initial view is further configured to obtain additional code in response to obtaining the one or more events. The code that renders the initial view is further configured to process the one or more events by executing the additional code.
