The present disclosure relates to an electronic device comprising: at least one universal integrated circuit card or at least one secure element and at least one power supply circuit for said card or secure element, said power supply circuit being connected to at least a first power supply voltage source of the electronic device and comprising a voltage detector adapted to determine whether said first voltage source provides a first power supply voltage different from a reference voltage; and at least one near field communication module adapted to enter an active mode whenever said voltage detector determines that said first supply voltage is different from the reference voltage.

Electronic device powering

The present disclosure relates to a method for powering an electronic device. The electronic device includes at least one universal integrated circuit card or at least one secure element; at least one power supply circuit for said card or secure element; and at least one near field communication module. When the near field communication module changes from a standby or inactive state to an active state, the following successive operations are performed: —the components and circuits of said electronic device are started; —programs of the electronic device and said secure card or element are started at the same time.

An electronic device includes a near-field communication module and a powering circuit for delivering a power supply voltage to the near-field communication module. When the near-field communication module is in a low power mode, the powering circuit is configured for an operational mode where it is periodically started to provide the power supply voltage.

NFC module powering

The present disclosure relates to a near-field communication device including a near-field communication controller. The near-field communication controller includes at least one first demodulator, adapted to apply a first type of demodulation to a first signal modulated according to a first or a second type of modulation; and at least one second demodulator, adapted to apply a second type of demodulation to the first signal.

Near-field communication device

Data exchanges between an ultra-wide band communication module and a secure element are controlled such that the data exchanges pass through a near-field communication router. The near-field communication router controls routing of the data exchanges so that the data exchanges do not pass through a host circuit that is also coupled to the near-field communication router.

NFC and UWB communications

In an embodiment, an electronic device includes a first near field communication module, at least one second communication module, at least one portion of a volatile memory, at least one register, and at least one first circuit configured to activate the near field communication module, wherein the at least one second communication module is configured to power the at least one portion of the volatile memory, the at least one register and the at least one first circuit with a first supply voltage when the electronic device is in an on state and when the first near field communication module is in a standby mode.

A device includes a first circuit that includes a near-field emission circuit, a second circuit, and a hardware connection linking the first circuit to the second circuit. The hardware connection is dedicated to a priority management between the first circuit and the second circuit. In addition, priority management information can be communicated between a near-field emission circuit and a second circuit. The communicating occurs between a dedicated hardware connection connecting the near-field emission circuit to the second circuit.

In an embodiment, a method includes activating at least one first antenna and at least one second antenna of a near-field communication (NFC) device for switching the NFC device between first field detection phases and second card detection phases.

Adjustment of an activation time of a circuit

A method of configuration of a mobile terminal including a near-field communication device is provided. The method includes determining the geographic position of the mobile terminal. The method further includes selecting, from a configuration table stored in an internal memory of the mobile terminal, a set of one or a plurality of configuration parameters of the near-field communication device according to the geographic position, and applying a selected set of parameters to the near-field communication device.

A method includes detecting, by a first near-field communication device, the presence of a second near-field communication device. Near-field communication device and method

Devices and methods for configuration of a mobile terminal including a near-field communication device and a radio communication device separate from the near-field communication device are provided. One such method includes determining, by the radio communication device, an identifier of a wireless local network within a range of the mobile terminal. In an embodiment a method for dynamic power control of a power level transmitted by an antenna of a contactless reader is disclosed. The method may include supplying a power to the antenna and performing at least one power adjusting cycle for adjusting a power level during a contactless transaction with a transponder, each power adjusting cycle including modifying the power supplied to the antenna to a predetermined level of power, performing a first measuring of a loading effect on the antenna at the predetermined level of power and adjusting the power level according to the measured loading effect.
