Each immersed jet creates turbulences as a result of the resistance of the medium in which it is immersed and at the end of its effective range the complete introduced energy is broken down into turbulent flows. These turbulent flows observed as a whole are local, thus are small-scale. However, these small-scale turbulences which have a strong eroding effect. The present invention produces as high a number as possible of small-scale turbulences and distributes them over a large volume. Large volume is to be understood as, for example, 3000&#x2013;4000 mon a surface of 2000 mand a height of 2 m as is the case with a storage tank of 50 m diameter and a liquid column of 3 m. The problem thus lies in the optimal distribution of the introduced or applied energy.

Method and device for producing turbulences and the distribution thereof

Liquefaction of sludgy to compact sediments (,) in vessels (,) in which crude oil (,) is stored and/or transported uses injecting a liquid above the sediment surface with nozzles (,) so that the sediment is at least partly liquified or dissolved in the liquid such that it can be removed from the vessel (,) together with the liquid. A substantially horizontally flowing liquid current which can be closed on itself is created above the sediment surface by directing the injection through all nozzles (,) such that the injection direction has a horizontal component which is oriented tangentially to a current line of the liquid current being created and is oriented in the flowing direction. The injected liquid is crude oil or a refinery product and differs from the lowest levels above the sediment in that it comprises a smaller share of heavy components.

Current creating device and method for liquefaction of thickened crude oil sediments

A method for preventing formation of a sediment layer at the bottom of a tank containing a liquid mixture such as crude oil, refinery products and petrochemical products which tends to form a precursor in the form of a thickening precipitation zone above the bottom. The deposit of sediment is prevented by disturbance of the precipitation zone. The disturbance is created in the form of an overall disturbance pattern with local disturbance regions with vibrating bodies such as strings or bells strings excitable to vibrate and immersed in the liquid mixture. Exciting elements including push and pull units cause the strings or bells to vibrate in fundamental and harmonic overtones and deflect components of the mixture as a function of the amplitude of said sound wave components.

Method for avoiding sedimentation

An individual identification system is a modular combination of a person-related first unit with transmittable/receivable storage elements by way of an antenna, the unit operating alone or together with a further unit having an additional, but different, identification part, and a person-unrelated and instead object-related second unit for the interaction between the person and the object and with a control for checking and maintaining the interaction with which units and objects are crosslinked. The person-related first unit is carrier oriented and is permanently or removably located on a use article, e.g., on a key, in a pass, on or in a watch or any other object which changes position with the person and is not coordinate-fixed. The object-related second unit is place-oriented and is at fixed locations (e.g. building doors), or is arranged in fixed manner on moving objects (e.g. vehicles).
