A vehicle interior lighting apparatus is disclosed. It includes an elongate light guide having at least one end-side light input coupling surface, a longitudinal light deflection surface and a longitudinal light output coupling surface opposite the light deflection surface, and at least one light source, the light of which is able to be coupled into the light guide at the at least one light input coupling surface and able to be coupled out of the light guide at the light output coupling surface by way of a light deflection at the light deflection surface. At least one light deflection prism is disposed optically downstream of the light output coupling surface and there is at least one jump between two refractive indices in a light path between the light guide and the at least one light deflection prism and the at least one light deflection prism is disposed between two adjacent light deflection regions when viewed perpendicular to the light output coupling surface. A vehicle has at least one vehicle interior lighting apparatus. An application for the disclosed apparatus includes door lighting.

Vehicle interior lighting apparatus

An illumination device for an interior fitting part of a motor vehicle includes a light guide bar that has a light entry surface along a longitudinal extension direction and a light source bar disposed on the light guide bar. The light source bar includes a plurality of point light sources that are disposed in series along the light entry surface, and a cover element that extends along the longitudinal extension direction of the light guide bar and shields at least one side surface of the light guide bar that differs from the light entry surface. The cover element is connected to the light guide bar via a first attachment element, the light source bar is connected to the light guide bar via a second attachment element, and the light source bar is at least partially housed between cover element and light guide bar.

Lighting device for an interior trim part

An optical conductor has several spherically curved light-extraction areas on its surface that are arranged in spaced relationship to one another and have a particular height (h) and a particular radius (R) of surface curvature, wherein h/R ratios of the respective height to the respective radius of all light-extraction areas are substantially equal and lie within a range of 0.1 to 0.45. A lighting system comprises one or more optical conductors and one or more light sources for irradiation of at least one light-injection area of the optical conductor, wherein useful light radiated from the front of the optical conductor can be emitted unscattered from the lighting system and/or interference light emitted outside of a useful light path is absorbable by the lighting system. Some embodiments may be particularly applicable in vehicle lighting systems.

Optical conductor and lighting system

A lighting apparatus may be provided for an interior trim piece of a motor vehicle. The lighting apparatus comprises a light guide strip, comprising at least one light-entry face and a light-exit face, which each extend along a longitudinal direction of the light guide strip, and at least two end sides, lying opposite one another and respectively adjoining the light-entry face or light-exit face. A plurality of point light sources are arranged at the light-entry face. Moreover, the light sources are arranged at an unchanging light source spacing from one another. Here, a boundary spacing between a respective end side and a light source arranged closest to the respective end side corresponds to at most half the light source spacing. Moreover, the light guide strip has, at least in portions, a boundary structuring for at least partial output coupling of light at the end sides.

Lighting apparatus for an interior trim piece of a motor vehicle

The present disclosure describes a lighting system for vehicle interiors, comprising a light source that emits visible light and a component arranged relative to the light source in such a manner that light emitted from the light source passes through it. The lighting system further comprises a transparent substrate with a surface area through which light emitted from the light source passes, and a lenticular screen structure having a plurality of regularly arranged lens elements and being formed on the surface area of the transparent substrate. The present disclosure also describes using the lighting system and its component to illuminate the interior of vehicles, wherein generated three-dimensional lighting effects can be perceived differently by a viewer/occupant in the interior space, depending on the angle of viewing.

Lighting apparatus

An illuminating device for a vehicle includes a carrier module, a flat light guide attached to the carrier module with a plurality of emitting points, and multiple light sources for illuminating the light guide. The flat light guide is concealed with a translucent haptic layer, which is attached to a visible side of the light guide, which, in turn, is covered by a decorative layer. The illuminating device comprises a rope-like light guide, which has an inherent light source and is connected to the decorative layer via a retaining device. This therefore results in a flat arrangement, which can be easily integrated into the interior parts and simultaneously enables illumination over a large surface area. In doing so, additional light effects can be integrated by means of the rope-like light guide. The illuminating device is not visible while switched off, as the illuminating device is covered by the decorative layer.
