The present invention relates to a compound according to formula 1: wherein: •each of Rto Rmay individually be a moiety selected from hydrogen, an aryl moiety, an aryl moiety, a halogen, an alkyl or aryl moiety with halogen substituent(s), an alkoxy moiety, a siloxy moiety, or a nitrogen-containing moiety, wherein each R moiety may optionally form a ring structure with an adjacent R moiety; •each of Aand Amay individually be a moiety selected from: o an element of Group 16 of the periodic system; and o a moiety containing an element of Group 15 of the periodic system; preferably wherein Aand Aare selected from O or NR, wherein Ris an alkyl, aryl or aralkyl moiety, preferably a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl moiety, preferably a p-tolyl moiety; •T is a divalent hydrocarbyl moiety; •D is a substituted element of Group 15 or Group 16 of the periodic system, preferably an N(R)or ORmoiety, in which Ris selected to be an alkyl moiety, an aryl moiety, or an aralkyl moiety, preferably Ris a methyl moiety; •Y is an element selected from Group 15 of the periodic system, preferably N; •Mt is a transition metal, preferably selected from Group 3 or 4 of the periodic system, more preferably selected from Ti, Hf and Zr; •X is a sigma-bonded ligand, preferably selected from a halogen, an alkyl moiety, an aralkyl moiety, an alkoxy moiety, an aryloxy moiety, and a dialkylamine moiety; and Classification: General Business Use •n is the amount of X ligands bonded to X. Such compound allow for use in catalysts that result in high molecular weight polymers, display high catalyst activities and give excellent comonomer incorporation.

Post-metallocene compounds

A metallocene complex of formula (I): each X is a sigma-ligand; in the group RSi— at least one R is methyl or ethyl, and the other R is selected from methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, isopropyl, n-butyl or isobutyl, pentyl, hexyl, cyclohexyl and phenyl; each Rindependently is the same or can be different and are a CH—Rgroup, with Rbeing H or linear or branched C-alkyl group, Ccycloalkyl group, or Caryl group; each Ris independently a —CH═, —CY═, —CH—, —CHY— or —CY— group, wherein Y is a Chydrocarbyl group and where n is 2-6; each Rand Rare independently the same or can be different and are hydrogen, a linear or branched C-alkyl group, a Carylalkyl, Calkylaryl group, Caryl group, or an —OY group, wherein Y is a is a Chydrocarbyl group; Ris a linear or branched C-alkyl group, Carylalkyl, Calkylaryl group or C-aryl group; and Ris a C(R)group, with Rbeing a linear or branched Calkyl group; (A) wherein at least one Rper phenyl group and at least one Ris not hydrogen, and wherein at least one Rper phenyl group and at least one Ris hydrogen; or (B) wherein one Ris an —OY group, wherein Y is a is a Chydrocarbyl group, in 4 position of each phenyl group and the two other Rgroups are tert-butyl groups; and/or (C) wherein one Ris an —OY group, wherein Y is a is a Chydrocarbyl group, in 4-position of the phenyl ring and the two other Rgroups are tert-butyl groups.

Catalysts

The present invention relates to compounds according to formula I: wherein: each R1-R10 may individually be H, a halogen, an alkoxy moiety, a siloxy moiety, a nitrogen-containing moiety, an alkyl moiety, an aryl moiety, or an aralkyl moiety, wherein each R1-R10 comprises ≤10 carbon atoms, wherein each of R1-R10 may form a cyclic moiety with an adjacent R1-R10 moiety; Y is O or N—R11, wherein R11 is an alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl moiety comprising 1-12 carbon atoms; M is a group 3 or 4 transition metal; X is a sigma-bonded ligand, or a diene; z is the number of ligands X that are bonded to M. Such compounds may be used in a catalyst system for olefin polymerisation.

Hexahydrocyclopenta[e]-as-indacen-1-yl and octahydrobenzo[e]-as-indacen-1-yl based catalyst complexes and process for use thereof

The present disclosure relates to Lewis base catalysts. Catalysts, catalyst systems, and processes of the present disclosure can provide high temperature ethylene polymerization, propylene polymerization, or copolymerization. In at least one embodiment, the catalyst compounds belong to a family of compounds comprising amido-phenolate-heterocyclic ligands coordinated to group 4 transition metals. The tridendate ligand may include a central neutral hetrocyclic donor group, an anionic phenolate donor, and an anionic amido donor. In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides a catalyst system comprising an activator and a catalyst of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides a polymerization process comprising a) contacting one or more olefin monomers with a catalyst system comprising: i) an activator and ii) a catalyst of the present disclosure.

Lewis base catalysts and methods thereof

The invention relates to a metallocene complex according to formula (I), (I) wherein Rand Rare independently selected from H, an alkyl or an aryl group, wherein Ris a C1-C10 alkyl group, wherein R' is selected from H, an alkyl group, an aryl group and wherein different R&#x2032; substituents can be connected to form a ring structure and wherein B is a 1,2 phenylene bridging moiety, which can be optionally substituted, wherein Mt is selected from Ti, Zr and Hf, X is an anionic ligand, z is the number of X groups and equals the valence of Mt minus 2. The invention also relates to a catalyst comprising the reaction product of the metallocene complex and a cocatalyst. Ansa-bis(inden-2-yl) catalysts for producing vinylidene-terminated polyalphaolefins

Aluminoxane-activated metallocene catalysts

New bisindenyl ligand complexes and catalysts comprising those complexes. The invention is directed to improving the manufacturing of specific C1-symmetric bisindenyl complexes by modifying one of the indenyl ligands in order to improve the selectivity of the complex synthesis towards the desired anti-isomer, increase the yield and simplify the purification of the complex. The invention also relates to the use of the new bisindenyl metallocene catalysts for the production of polypropylene homopolymers or propylene copolymers.
